Garcia, Regino
A good defensive catcher who hit for high average and rarely struck out but who played in prime Deadball Era.

Moore, Dobie
One of the better shortstops in NeL history, both on offence and D. I've had him on my Bucs squad and he's been great.
Fairly straight-up profile, POT tops out at 110%.

Lundy, Dick
The mighty King Richard, generally regarded as the best SS between Lloyd and Wells in the 1920s. Another who is currently a Pirate in my Bucs save. Started well but has struggled for consistency.
Again, nothing fancy here. Low starting point due to his youth and 112% POT.

Bejerano, Agustin
Now a few who'll be coming into the Bucs save in the 1928 Draft.
Agustin was a fleet-footed OF who played almost all his career in Mexico, where he is enshrined in the Hall of Fame. Super quick and an excellent LF. MLEs were kind to him so I've kept his POT at 105% and given him a long dev path as he is just 19 at import.

Perkins, Bill
Reportedly Satchel Paige's favourite catcher and Riley talks up his defence while SH rates him poorly. I, as I usually do in cases like this, have split the difference. Also played a bit in both corner OF slots, but not all that well.
A slightly flatter profile for Bill, with POT topping out a bit over 105%.

Livingston, L.D.
Not much to go by for "Goo Goo" Livingston, he merits just a paragraph from JAR and only played 193 games according to SH. I can't even ascertain a definitive B/T for him, so I've just gone with the game's Right / Right. Did have some pop, though.
Presumably trying to compensate or account for this, the MLEs are fairly kind to him. I have kept him pretty tight and flat.

Palm, Clarence
Not the greatest defensive catcher going around, but fairly solid at the plate with some pop.
Nothing tricky about his profile, 80-110% range set.

Curry, Goose
Known as "Blue Demon", Goose (christened Homer) began as a pitcher, but I have ignored that here as it never led to much.
Decent speed, not great on D at all three OF slots with a weak arm, OK at the plate with only occasional pop. Oddly he both walked and whiffed a lot. Flattish profile as he started his positional career late.

Willis, Jim
Very little anecdotal / bio data on "Cannonball" Willis, no DOB or birthplace, height/weight or which side he hit from. One paragraph from JAR that gives little away. So I have used the imported version as a basis for his pitch profile and got a bit creative from there.
EDIT: the original spreadsheet has him throwing L - this is incorrect and has been fixed.

Radcliffe, Ted
"Double Duty" (because he would often pitch one and catch the other game in DHs) Radcliffe was not the most talented player, but from all reports he was one of the most colourful.
A rare player who gets both hitting and pitching MLEs, I have treated him like the true two-way player he was, rather than have one supplant the other over the course of his career. One has to ignore the mythology for players like Ted. The fact is he was a good but not great ballplayer in both facets of the game. SH has allocated 11.7 career WAR, if that's anything to go by and EC has him at 11.2 pWAR and 6.3 bWAR. Very flat profile given he was a 26-yo rookie. Live to a ripe old 103, God bless him!

Dukes, Tommie
An average catcher with a decent arm, "Dixie" Dukes was a solid hitter with some power. A straightforward sort of player and his profile reflects that.

Bankhead, Dan
One of five brothers to play at various levels in the game, Dan rode a zingy FB and above average scrooge all the way to the bigs, becoming the first black pitcher when he debuted in 1947 for the Dodgers. Never really got it together, however, and his stay was a short one.
JAR has him as a good hitter, a claim not backed up by the stats. Other than that nothing of note.

Blanco, Heberto
Another player from the '40s, "Harry" almost but never did make it to the Show. Speedy and a great defensive 2B but not much to offer at the plate, especially power-wise.
Standard sort of profile, 75-108% range.

William McKinley "Sug" Cornelius is more highly thought of by JAR than his raw stats would suggest of his talent, and a further markdown by the MLEs has me tending to follow that line of thought. This is tempered a bit by his appearance on 3 All-Star squads and what I can gather was a pretty decent pitch repertoire. In the end I think he's come out fairly much where he should be - as a handy but certainly not dominant type; a mid-rotation starter.

Hudspeth, Robert
Nicknamed "Highpockets", presumably due to his height (6-4), Robert tragically died young of TB - aged just 41 - although he was out of the bigs by this time.
A good hitter and quick for his size, according to JAR his height was both an asset and liability at 1B, giving him good reach but making low throws problematic. In fact, he kind of comes across as the prototypical modern first-baseman. The MLEs aren't fans, so as per I have taken this into consideration and given him a fairly flat profile to accommodate his relatively late start at age 26.

Redding, Dick
OK a newly-edited profile for one of the NeL pitching legends to finish off today, Dick "Cannonball" Redding.
My first version of Dick, Rube Foster, Bullet Rogan, Jose Mendez and Eustaquio Pedroso - all of whom came into my Bucs save in the first few years after I integrated the league in 1909. Dick, who debuted in 1911 as per IRL, is still going strong in 1927, although he has just suffered an injury that will make him miss most of that season. Still, he is the winningest NeL pitcher in the league (and second overall to the great Walter Johnson's 471 and counting) at 347-251 / 3.07 with over 100 WAR, and has won 2 CYA. No doubt he's bound for C-Town. (You can see his full profile and stats for this save HERE.) I'll be the first to admit these versions were perhaps a little too good, and I have pulled them back ever so slightly in these final versions. But it's hard to see why his STU rating comes up as poorly as it does, given his high FB rating. Maybe it's because he only had three pitches, or it could be a relativity issue as I've mentioned previously. Still, this is how it has to be and I think he still comes in the quality pitcher he was IRL. For interest, I have included (the second screenshot) his profile when he went into the Bucs save, before I was applying a career path to them in the way I am now.

Rogan, Bullet
Another big gun who I'm sure needs no introduction. Has been in my Bucs save since 1915, and is just one win shy of 250. You can see his output from that universe HERE.
One of the few who gets both hitting and pitching MLEs, Bullet was always first and foremost a pitcher, but hit well enough to be used as a position player - mainly in the OF - on his off-days. Actually pretty comfortable with his previous ratings and have made little change to this final edit other than the slight markdown he gets from the MLEs.

Dula, Louis
A handy enough type with both bat and ball but primarily a pitcher and no world-beater.
Standard profile, 80-105% path.

Gisentaner, Willie
Much-travelled journeyman type who was OK enough with bat in hand to spend some time in the OF when not pitching. Similar to Mordecai Brown in that a childhood accident left him with a disfigured pitching hand.
Straight-up 80-105% profile.

Hewitt, Joe
A slightly glove-heavy and exceptionally fast middle IF who also played some corner OF and 3B. Not much more to add - flattish profile as he started late.
