Introducing: Drive for the Pennant mode

I love this idea so much. Such a good alternative and reminds me of March to October a little bit, but better cuz it’s OOTP. I kind of enjoy not having full complete 100% control over my team (ie depth charts). A couple notes:
I wish the trade deadline experience was better. Also some different trade option presentations and what not. More of a quality of life thing than anything I guess.

I’d also like to be able to adjust trade difficulty and prospect preference (no reason why that shouldn’t be available in this mode imo).

Maybe an adjustable “clutch” situation jump-in could be cool too. Like only jump in after the 6th inning throughout the season. Or be able to jump in whenever you want no matter the leverage of a situation. I’d love to play it after 2024 too, but I know you’ve seen a lot of that comment so we’ll see����*♂️ Thanks guys! I was guilty of it myself the other day. Made a sarcastic post and regretted it right away when the poster said he was sorry. He did nothing wrong. Just me being a tool

Kinda Clunky, but has potential. My two complaints are 1)Sim GM is awful setting up trades as he sets up way too many weak trades and calls them Game Changers, 2) The initiate trade should allow you to negotiate with specific team.

Thank you for the updates to Drive for the Pennant. It was a very unstable game. Hope some of the clunky nature goes away, and the Crashes.

If you convert a Drive Season, Give us an option to become just the GM and Hire a Manager or vice versa, quit being GM at all and just Manage.

Why is this game so unstable? Have had a crash almost every drive I start, and it is awful to lose the progress you have made. Also, the SIM assistant GM sucks. No logic at all to him "Game Changer" that will only work if you trade away your Core Players.

I am not having any crash issues and I have been through a few drives already and I have also watched people on Twitch run through Drive and not once have I seen a crash there either.

I have also had some really good trades come through from the assist GM and of course I have seen the AI try and take me for good players for a trash player but that's also normal baseball That's why you are given the option to reject trades lol. Also the reason negotiate is disabled is so you can't cheese the AI like you can in the regular game.

But, if you are having crash issues, run debug and send the Devs your results over just saying it just crashes.

If you start a new game on the latest patch, you should have the most up to date roster set. Although the initial Drive for the Pennant roster starting in pre-season will not be drastically different between versions.
