I tried using the live start and the schedule today is all wrong. It has many of the teams not starting today but starting tomorrow with doubleheaders--with the notes saying that the games we're rescheduled from today

Been messing around with the Steam and Standalone versions for my buddy's website (trying to figure out a good angle for an article or guide of some sort, any ideas let me know) but deleted my first challenge mode game and now anytime I try and start a new one, no option for challenge mode again, even after the patch.

Ok figured out a fix - Install on Steam, turn off cloud saves in steam, start game, exit game, turn on cloud saves, either play on Steam or uninstall and install Standalone and it works now. Must be a Steam cloud issue. I know most will not have both versions like a reviewer/guide maker will but just wanted to let you all know for any others like me who do have both versions.

Under settings>misc there is an "ask for challenge mode" option. Any chance yours to set to "no"?

I've played on Steam for a few years now. I have always had cloud saves turned off as OOTP has never supported them. Markus mentioned trying to get them in last year, but I think(?) they found out with file sizes it just wasn't going to work.

I read the full thread and apologize if I missed it - but, is there another patch expected soon?

Not asking for any other reason than my league I am waiting to get started.

If there may be another patch in the near future I don't want to start my league then have to restart once the next patch is released?

Live-Start isn't working, most games are cancelled due to weather on the day of the live-start. Please fix, thx.

I would wait a bit longer as we have not seen a patch post season start yet. They have a number of small issues to clear up and hopefully that will include a roster update and all the minor issues with player info.

It also dumps tons of injured players (including many of the best players in the league) into Partner Leagues, where you and other clubs can purchase them for $250k.

Thanks for fixing the HR challenge ending early, but it seemed to eliminate the All Star game completely. It was scheduled prior to installing the patch, but now it is gone completely.

There is now finally a post by someone else noticing the same issue as me so I hope you will be able to find the problem and have a fix for it. I am a long time OOTP player and primarily enjoying playing one pitch manage 3d game mode and when face gens and uniform names and numbers were added to the 3d player models, that was a real game changer for me. This current problem unfortunately is really a game breaker from an immersion standpoint. Really appreciate all your hard work in making a great game year after year and hope you will find a fix for this soon.

We'll take a look, but just as a note, uninstalling and re-installing will not do the same thing as the force reinstall game data function, so you do definitely want to make sure you've tried that as well.

Sorry, I just noticed Matt had mentioned elsewhere that there was an issue here. It looks like he's fixed it up for the next patch.

Yes, we'll likely have a new public beta at some point this week. We have some major changes to make 3d play use much less memory/resources and make playing out games a lot smoother on older systems. Still working through a few things with it in private beta though, so not sure of the exact time frame.
