Beijing Guardian Lions
While the name invokes the powerful, traditional "Fu Lions" that guard the city's historic gates, the club's current visual identity is undergoing a transition. They play at the massive Beijing National Stadium, where the "Guardian" moniker feels right at home in such an iconic venue. |

Global Assembly of Champions
Introducing the Global Assembly of Champions.
The GAC begins play after the bracket play in the other leagues. The format is still very fluid until somethings are figured out. But for now, every club team who won the the most recent version of that trophy will advance. This means anywhere from 2 to 5 teams can make the GAC. Here are the current formats for each teams. 2 teams: 1 Bo7 tournament 3 teams: Triple round round, two top teams advance. Bo7 with better round robin record gets 1 game higher seed advantage. 4 teams: Double elim 4 team bracket. All Bo7 5 teams: Double round robin. 4 team bracket, first round, higher seed gets gets 1 game higher seed advantage. The 5 possible spots available at the moment are: 1. Last year's GAC Champion 2. AL Table Champion 3. AL Bracket Champion 4. BFA Table Champion 5. BFA Bracket Champion If a team takes up two spots, then the spot is gone. |

American League: 2010
The West continues to power the league as the Hill Country Skyhawks (7347) secure their first-ever table trophy. In the East, the Chicago Blue Collars (6258) manage to repeat as division winners in a tight race.
Both wildcard spots once again fall to the West, with the Phoenix Serpientes (6654) taking the top slot and the San Francisco Seals (6456) returning to the postseason to round out the field. The semifinals were defined by the underdogs. Phoenix dominated the Blue Collars, rattling off four straight wins to advance. Meanwhile, the Seals battled the table-winning Skyhawks in a grueling seven-game set, ultimately pulling off the upset in Game 7. In the ALCS, San Francisco stifled the Phoenix offense, taking the series 41. With the victory, the Seals secure their 5th bracket title in the 11-year history of the American League. The inaugural BFA season concludes with the Hyderabad Pearls (72–48) claiming the first-ever table trophy as the league's most consistent regular-season squad. In the Pacific, the Beijing Guardian Lions (67–53) secure the division crown, while the New Delhi Metropolitan Club (65–55) earns the first wildcard spot.
Beijing entered the semifinals against NDMC with a 2-game higher seed advantage and wasted no time, completing the 4–0 sweep to advance. In the BFA Finals, the Guardian Lions traveled to India to face the top-seeded Pearls. Despite Hyderabad’s regular-season dominance, Beijing stayed hot, taking the series 4–2 to secure the first bracket title in league history. BFA Table Champion: Hyderabad Pearls BFA Bracket Champion: Beijing Guardian Lions AL Table Champion: Hill Country Skyhawks AL Bracket Champion: San Francisco Seals The tournament opened with cross-continental matchups in the winners' quarterfinals. Both BFA squads sent a message early, as Beijing took down Hill Country and Hyderabad defeated San Francisco, both ending in 42 series victories. In the losers' bracket, the Skyhawks won the all-AL battle, eliminating the Seals 42. The winners' semifinals saw a BFA rematch, where Beijing once again got the better of the Pearls with a 41 victory to punch their ticket to the finals. In the losers' semi, Hill Country continued their survival run, handing Hyderabad yet another 42 series loss to advance to the Grand Final. The first-ever GAC Final came down to a high-stakes Game 7 between the Beijing Guardian Lions and the Hill Country Skyhawks. American League: 2011
The West continues to dominate the standings as the Hill Country Skyhawks (78–42) secure back-to-back table trophies. In the East, the Chicago Blue Collars (60–60) repeat as division winners despite a remarkably weak year for the division.
For the second straight season, the exact same four teams occupy the playoff spots in identical seeding. The Phoenix Serpientes (75–45) and San Francisco Seals (65–55) return as the wildcards, setting up a series of high-stakes rematches from 2010. This year, however, the results flipped. Both division leaders protected their turf: Hill Country dispatched the Seals 4–2, while Chicago took down Phoenix 4–1. In the ALCS, the Skyhawks proved too much for the Blue Collars. By taking the series, Hill Country secures their second bracket title and completes the "Double" for 2011, sweeping both the table and bracket trophies. Bracket Champion: Hill Country Skyhawks (2) Table Champion: Hill Country Skyhawks (2) Hill Country will be the only American League to qualify for the GAC. The Hyderabad Pearls (6853) and the New Delhi Metropolitan Club finished in a dead heat, forcing a Game 121 tiebreaker. Hyderabad pulled out the win to secure the division, while the Beijing Guardian Lions (7248) won out in the Pacific to claim their first-ever table trophy. The Guangzhou Rams (6852) rounded out the field, securing the lone wildcard spot.
The postseason was a gauntlet for the Pearls. Despite entering the semifinals against Guangzhou with a two-game higher seed advantage, Hyderabad was pushed to the absolute brink, narrowly surviving a Game 7 to advance. The BFA Finals set up a high-stakes rematch of the 2010 title game. Having lost both the BFA and GAC trophies to Beijing last year, the Pearls finally found their revenge. In a hostile, packed house in Beijing, Hyderabad took Game 7 to secure their first bracket title. The two powerhouses effectively flipped trophies from last season, with Hyderabad taking the bracket while both head into the GAC as Beijing looks defend their global crown. In the GAC Finals, the Skyhawks leveraged their superior round-robin record to take a 1-game higher seed advantage over the Pearls. Hill Country made quick work of the opportunity, handling Hyderabad 42 to secure their first-ever GAC trophy. In a big clash, China outlasted the USA in a seven-game series, while Bangladesh pulled the upset taking down Russia 42. The gap between the top seeds and the field was clear. India made quick work of Bangladesh with a 40 sweep, while China handled Indonesia 41 to set up a familiar championship showdown. WBC Final: India vs. China For the third time in four events, these two giants met for the trophy. In a back-and-forth series that went the full seven games, India secured a 43 victory to claim their third world title. WBC Champion: India (3) WBC Runner-up: China WBC F4: Bangladesh WBC F4: Indonesia The tournament results have shifted the landscape of international baseball. India officially moves from "Average" to "Good" quality, sparking rumors of a BFA expansion to accommodate their growing talent pool. Meanwhile, Bangladesh jumps from "Poor" to "Fair" quality following their historic Final Four run, and they have begun lobbing the BFA for their first professional club team. It certainly feels as if these two will be first in line for expansions. |

American League: 2012
The Hill Country Skyhawks (8337) put together a historic campaign, shattering league records to finish with the most wins in AL history and securing their third consecutive table trophy. In the East, the Miami Gators (6357) finally break through to claim their first division crown, returning to the postseason for the first time since their wildcard appearance in 2005.
The wildcard race came down to a photo finish. The San Francisco Seals (6753) secured the top spot, while the Los Angeles Angels (6457) edged out the Phoenix Serpientes (6358) in a tiebreaker game to claim the final seed. San Francisco made quick work of the East division champs, sending Miami home 42. On the other side of the bracket, the record-setting Skyhawks were pushed to the absolute limit by the Angels. In a grueling seven-game set, the home crowd in Austin lifted Hill Country to a Game 7 victory. The ALCS was a battle of titans in San Antonio, going all the way to a decisive Game 7. Despite Hill Country's regular-season dominance, the Seals proved why they are the leagues premier postseason threat, stealing the series to claim their 6th bracket trophy in 13 years. Both Western powerhouses now head to the GAC, with Hill Country looking to defend their global title. Bracket Champion: San Francisco Seals (6) Table Champion: Hill Country Skyhawks (3) |

Beijing Guardian Lions (7347) and win the table trophy and the Pacific. Hyderabad Pearls (64-56) wins the India division, as both teams have won the division all 3 times. Guangzhou Rams (64-56) win the wildcard with the same record as the Pearls.
The postseason immediately put those records to the test. In the semifinals, the Pearls utilized their higher seed advantage to dismantle the Rams, ending Guangzhou's season with a swift 41 series victory. The BFA Finals set up a heavyweight trilogy between Beijing and Hyderabad. Having watched the Pearls celebrate on their home turf last year, the Guardian Lions left nothing to chance. Beijing controlled the series from the start, taking down Hyderabad 42 to secure their second bracket title. By sweeping both the table and bracket trophies, the Guardian Lions complete the "Double" for 2012. They now head to the Global Assembly of Champions as the lone representative for the BFA, looking to secure a historic "Triple" by reclaiming their world title. Global Assembly of Champions: 2012
Beijing Guardian Lions - BFA Table Champion & BFA Bracket Champion
Hill Country Skyhawks - Last Year's Champion & AL Table Champion San Francisco Seals - AL Bracket Champion The Triple Round Robin produced one of the biggest shocks in tournament history. Despite their record-breaking 83-win regular season, the Hill Country Skyhawks completely unraveled on the global stage, finishing a dismal 1–5. This left the field open for the Beijing Guardian Lions and the San Francisco Seals, who both finished 4–2 to secure their spots in the final. In the GAC Finals, the Guardian Lions proved to be in a class of their own. They neutralized the Seals' veteran postseason experience, cruising to an easy 4–1 series victory. With the win, Beijing reclaims their world title and secures the first-ever Triple by taking home the BFA Table, BFA Bracket, and GAC Trophy in a single season.
