These pre-plays were eerily prescient for the first 20-25 games or so in calling the winner, but over the last 20 they've been terrible and most of the time it's been when they called for the Rays to lose and they didn't such as the previous three games.

OF Jake Fraley goes on the IL with a hernia and IF Carson Williams is back up from Durham. Rays get the 12:15 Peacock game today so we're up early with today's post.

*Side note: OOTP thinks Williams is a two-way player but he's never pitched as a professional nor has there ever been any talk of same. I forgot to uncheck "use as two-way player" so he ended up pitching two innings today. Since it didn't really affect the result I let it ride.

All kinds of moves today. First they traded AAA pitcher Joe Rock to the White Sox for IF Oliver Dunn, who joins the team to take the place of Ben Williamson who goes on the 10-day IL with back issues. Meanwhile SP Steven Matz is activated to start today and Chase Solesky is back to Durham.

Some roster shuffing as IF Ben Williamson comes off the IL and Carson Williams is sent back to Durham while reliever Jon Heasley is DFA'd and the contract of journeyman P Andrew Wantz is purchased from the Bulls.

My AL-only fantasy team sure could use a 5-5, 3-HR game from Joc Pederson.
