Since they both fought on the west coast I'm trying to figure out how Blimp missed having a bout with with always rotund Turkey Thompson. Thompson was a shade over 5' 8" and went into some bouts at about 250. A bout between these two could have set early records for most tonnage by two fighters.

Actually, I think the record was back on 9 March 2007 in a bout between Eric "Butterbean" Esch (417 1/2 lbs.) vs. Joe Siciliano (313 1/2 lbs) in which the Bean won by TKO in round 2.

I fail to see the significance of listing the weights of these guys including the extra 1/2 lb. for each. I doubt that anyone in attendance really noticed.
