The monopoly of baseball needs to end. I will gladly pay less to watch a team that is local and not mlb level.

I hope I'm recounting this right. Gary Cohen just went back to yesterday, when the Mets churned the Barves for six homers and four stolen bases, which back then was called as the first time the Mets had ever done that in a game.
Today's research shows that this was only the fourth 6 HR, 4 SB game in MLB history, and as Gary said, "the history of that is really, really weird": "It happened once in 1994, and twice in 1995. Twice it was the Indians, and once the Tigers. And all three of those instances came against the White Sox!" Always the White Sox, the baseball gods' gift that keeps on giving! ![]()

2 HR's in the first two innings against the A's for the Mariners Cal Raleigh. He is now the record holder for home runs by a catcher in the season and there is over a month left. Can he break Aaron Judge's AL record?

The crazy thing to me is Cal is a catcher and doing this! He's only missed 4 games so far this year however. Judge missed 5 games in the year he hit 62. Maris only missed 1 in the year he hit 61. And the Babe hit 60 in 151. I threw a little comparison together and I think it's interesting he's on the same pace as Ruth and Maris /PA-wise (Judge's was best), but a little behind /AB-wise (Ruth's was best).
I would think the Mariners might want to rest him a bit before the postseason, but then again they're still fighting for a spot (they currently hold the last spot with the Rangers, Royals and Guardians nipping at their heels). And he's of course a huge part of their offense so they might not be able to afford resting him much.

Cal is a workhorse I don't see him getting much of a break especially if he is chasing Judge

I know a foot is 30.48cm so 6' are (rounded) 1.81m.
But your pounds are a random number of grams. And the gallons! Oh, don't get me started on the gallons!!

12 inches = 1 foot
3 feet = 1 yard 5.5 yards = 1 rod 40 rods = 1 furlong 8 furlongs = 1 mile Simple!
