By the way, I was rumaging through some older ratings and came across the worst rating that I have ever seen posted - and it was mine. I rated Gawie de Klerk a while back - the South African that lost in a Commonwealth title fight to Henry Cooper. I know that I am getting better as time goes on, but that rating had drug induced stupor written all over it. Thankfully, Rocco has a rivised version out there. If you are using mine, my appologies and do yourself a favor by digging Rocco's revision out.

Blandon was a dual Australian champion, holding the bantamweight and featherweight titles, and losing neither of them. He relinquished his bantamweight title in September 1934, won the featherweight crown in May 1935 and still held it when he retired in May 1936. He died in 1939 from a brain tumour.

KO'd Pat Craig for the Australian Bantamweight title in 1934. Outpointed Joe Hall for the Aussie Featherweight belt in 1935. Beat Star Frisco three times, Speedy Dado and Mickey Miller twice each and Phil Zwick. Blandon was not stopped in 68 pro bouts.

Fought out of Spain for most of career

After two failed attempts against Jose Hernandez (Dec. loss and a draw), Garcia won the Spanish Featherweight title in 1956 with a ninth round KO over Pedro Paris. He lost a bid for the European Featherweight title in 1960 when he lost a 15 round decision to Gracieux Lamperti in Marseille.

Garcia beat Theo Medina, Fred Galiana (twice), Rudi Langer, Hans Schoemig, Hector Miranda and Altidoro Polidori. He drew with Galiana, Pedro Miranda and Ricardo Gonzalez. Notable defeats included those to Giordano Campari, Gonzalez, Sergio Caprari, Jean Sneyers, Duilio Loi, Hernandez, Luis Romero, Galiana and a non-title loss to Lamperti.

He retired in 1961 and should have made it final. His comeback in 1968 added three losses and a win to his career record. Through 129 pro bouts, Garcia was stopped three times, two comming in the final bouts before his first and second retirements.

I'm glad you like the de Klerk I did. He was one of my earlier attempts rating. I look back now at some of the earlier ones' I've done and at some point would like to go back and tweek some of them with new schedules to test sim with. With everyone's contributions, my data base of available fighters is MUCH greater then it was a year ago!

I was thinking though to, didn't David Myers or someone else post a de Klerk some time recently? Thinking maybe it might be thiers.
