"Our League" Season 4--Who Wants To Play Our Way?

Here's what I've been able to gather from those that haven't posted:


Bronze 200 - Texarkana up to silver, Paxville staying in bronze, Silly Mad down to iron.
Bronze 243 - Otsego Lake up to silver, Las Vegas and Rte. 66 staying in bronze.
Rookie 66 - Iron Maiden up to stone.
Rookie 111 - Jackson staying in rookie


Rookie 69, Stone 132, and Iron 222 are already posted. I'd say make sure you check your friends list and submit, but OOTP has not addressed the issue with the managers and rankings screen so there is no way to add or remove teams from the friends list.

I almost hate to say it, but it "feels like" their inaction is on purpose. It just doesn't seem that hard to figure out why a column got dropped.

Thanks! I haven't touched my logo for awhile due to the fact that it is actually sticking for once. I'd like to find something a little more Lennon-esque but not sure it's out there.

Tough season for all OL teams this year. That 9 game lead never felt safe with the mighty Syrups having a stellar season. It felt more like a 1 game lead until the end of the year, with both teams trading first place throughout the grind.

Feeling the heat all year, the Men were "waffling" on whether to make additional moves after Hebner, but decided to stay put. We are not expecting many changes next year as we turned from the FA market later in the year & spent our earnings on the developmental budget hoping to "build a legend". Time will tell if that is a foolish strategy or pays off in the end - I have no idea. Sitting on a few packs, while hoping Bieber hits perfect & exercises his player option, so direction subject to change.

Good luck to all today except if/when you're playing the Nowhere Men. This season feels like the typical OOTP red-hot reg season, bounced in the first round finish. Trying to not overthink it & keep the boys loose this morning.

Well in I222, there are a total of six OL teams in the playoffs. However, the way the matchups turned out, we are limited in how many positions we have in each of the rounds: there will either be four or five in the division series, and guaranteed to be at least two (possibly, but unlikely three) in the sub-league series.

I sure hope this isn't going to mess up next week too badly, OR be an ongoing problem!

In the aftermath of Port Ruppert's defeat at the hands of OL champ the Nowhere Men, 3-games-to-1, in the PT playoffs, shortstop Marty Marion has signed with a rival league. The Mundys were quick to respond, inking free agent Dave Concepcion to a multi-year deal.

GM Ulysses Fairsmith indicated that talks had gone smoothly on an extension of Marion's current deal and the Mundys poobah was surprised by the development. He said, "The last thing I heard from Marty was that he'd sign right after the playoffs. I guess he just got bowled over by a big offer." Fairsmith was quick to point out that the other league was not BFF. "No, no way that could happen. We have a mutual respect and admiration for BFF and they have never signed an OL player, and we have never interfered with their operation." The rival league was not identified.

Manager Luke Gofannon was pleased by the rapid response of the front office to the defection. "Davey's gonna be a solid addition to the team. We think he'll replace Marion and then some. We do wish Mary well."

As the team wrapped up the 2024 season, it was announced that Doc White and Mel Harder were recalled from the Kakoola Reapers and were expected to be tried in the rotation next season with Carl Hubbell and Irv Young shifting to the bullpen. Casey Janssen and Joakim Soria were sent to the Aceldama Butchers to make room.

contrary to their earlier idea of staying put, Nowhere has announced a surprise signing of Jason Isringhausen.

"It was an opportunity we couldn't pass up" said Nowhere manager Ian Iachimoe.

No word yet when he will join the team, but Rafael Soriano has seemingly been put on notice.

Southpaws signed three players to bolster their postseason roster: SPs Brickyard Kennedy and Tony Mullane, and SS Rico Petrocelli. You can see them at the top of the player roster below.

Mullane is taking over the fifth starter position from Al Brazle (who moved to the bullpen) and Kennedy is now their late-inning stopper. Petrocelli will play some SS and 3B.

Otsego Lake lost the wild card in B243. Texarkana lost in the Division series in B200.


Another PT oddity surfaces. Just went on my universe screen to try and check on R69. It's not there. I scrolled to the end on both sides. This game can be so frustratingly buggy!
