Last time out, Vic Willis handled the Superbas, but this time they got their revenge behind the debut of Ken Turner, beating the Beaneaters 7-6.

The Superbas were ready for extra innings against the Pirates but Sam Mertes botched what should have been the third out, allowing the Pirates to grab the 4-3 win.
