New Jersey, USA. I believe I started with 5, but it might have been 4. I've had every version since I started.

Dortmund, Germany...

I randomly watched into MLB after the 2012/13 NBA season was over and while I didn't understood a thing... I was sucked in by the game...

Tried the OOTP test version and loved it and then bought 14 and every version since then... and became a huge baseball fan

I think someone mentioned they were from Taiwan, so that covers Asia.

Still missing Antarctica, though. Any penguins up in here?

We had one from Africa and I've seen a few from Asia of different parts. Haven't noticed anyone from South America, though.

I bought OOTP in 1999. It wasn't OOTP 1 yet because there wasn't a 2, or maybe even plains for one yet. I had been following the work of Shaun Sullivan who was building a baseball game in his spare time. I even had a alpha version of the game that was almost playable. But his progress was slow and spotty (eventually he did produce PureSim baseball). Than one day I ran across a completed game by some German kid. A German baseball game? But still it was offering me what I was looking for and was more involved that Baseball Mogul, so I bought it.

When I went to activate OOTP 2 my license didn't work and I sent an email to Markus who replied almost immediately. It turns out I opened the old email from OOTP 1 when looking for my licenses and had to email him back admitting that I might not be the smartest customer, but at least I was loyal.

I grew up in Austin TX, which obviously is in the U.S. but back when I was a kid, Austin might as well have been a foreign country when it came to baseball. My dad was a New Yorker and would take me to U.T. baseball games. Back then they played in Clark Field. Notice that there is a cliff in center field and the fence is a good 20 feet behind it. You could actually hit a ball on top of the cliff, and the ball would still be in play.

So were you embarrassed with that mistake lol?

Since version 6 and I hail from the Land of 10,000 Lakes. Lakeville, Minnesota. A suburb of the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul.

Strikingly similar to my experience with football and Championship Manager (as well as a short-lived game called one-nil) 20 odd years ago.

There are a bunch of guys from Asia around.

Certainly several from Japan and at least a couple from Korea and Taiwan.
