As the Toronto starting pitching has struggled it was big for Dave Stieb to come out and have a good start, and he did, pitching the Jays past the Rangers by a score of 10-3.

Junior Felix hit his 2nd homer of the season.

It was another rough day for the under-performing Blue Jays as they fell 8-3 to the Rangers.

Barry Jones left the game with a mild oblique strain that should keep him riding pine for up to a week.

Mike Marshall was named the AL Player of the Week. He hit .455 this week, with 9 RBI.

Barry Bonds of the Cardinals won for the NL.

Arturo Vazquez of Saint Hyacinthe won the award fo this AA League.

The Jays moved one spot out of the cellar on the Weekly Power Rankings, to #25.

The Blue Jays came from behind to tie it in the 9th, only to lose it in the bottom half as the A'a got the walk-off, 6-5 win.

The Jays were shutout, 4-0 by the A's.

The Jays were expected to be a top contender. Instead they just are digging themselves deeper and deeper.

Tom Henke was brought in with a one run lead to nail down the Toronto win. Instead he gave up a two run double for his second blown save of the year.

The Mariners won 5-4.

The mystery of the flailing Blue Jays continues. They fell 7-1 to the Angels for their eight straight loss.

This is a team that was expected to compete for the pennant and now they can't even win a game.

The season is long, but it has been a month.

An eighth inning home run by Ron Hassey brought an end to the Toronto losing streak as the Blue Jays beat the A's 3-2.

Rickey Henderson and Ryne Sandberg also went deep as all the Toronto runs came off solo homers.
