I would rather he play the young players and get bounced in the group stages rather than play a mixture of the two. get-vidmate.com instasave

Your hatred for anything english gets very boring, I see you never mention 1982 or 2010 to name but 2.

I had to read up now on what you mean by 2010. That is definitely not something us over here still carry around with us.

Now let's talk about 1966

Russian linesman no VAR who just over 20 years ago saw millions of his fellow Russians die, you were in his position making a split second decision what would you do? Now let's talk about 1982

What was 2010?
The Lampard should have been goal?

Okay, I agree. FIFA should have been using a chip in the ball or VAR by that point.

In any event, even if that goal is given, England still lose the match 2-4

And 1982, are you talking about the West Germany vs Austria game? If so, I also agree. That was poorly done by all sides involved.
But I was not alive then.

I don't see anything of note or controversial in the Germany vs England match from 1982. It seems like a pretty stale 0-0 draw.

And truly and honestly, I do not hate the English
I lived there for a while and really enjoy my visits there and my English friends. It is just fun to rib them about them inviting the game and then never being able to win big tournaments. And the one they did win was now 60 years ago and to say the least, very controversial.
I honestly hope they can win on Sunday. They have a very good group of young players whom I really like. Sancho, Phillips, Mount, Bellingham, and even though he is not young anymore, Harry Kane. I really do like them.

I do not like some fans' behavior from almost all nations and most clubs.
I also do not like some of the English fans attitude that because they invented the game, that they feel like they own the game. Even though they have not won anything subnational in 55 years.

If the 66 goal is disallowed England still win 3-2.

I also enjoy Trent Alexander-Arnold even though he had to miss this tournament with injury.

Well, the final Hurst goal was as fans were on the pitch. If we are being hyper-technical, that one should not have counted either

1 good thing about these championships albeit too late, highly doubtful it will not be held in multiple countries again thank goodness.

And I have nothing against England, but the English national team? Nah. Go away.

(sings with passion) III-TAA-LIAAAA!! III-TAA-LIAAAA!!

Yes, btw, I have a history of rooting hard for countries other than my own. F.e. I put down a hundo on Argentina to win the World Cup in 2006 and got myself an Argentine flag to show unwavering support.

I think that is the point where my hatred for penalty shootouts *really* kicked into gear.

Once again you demonstrate your discerning taste, superior intellect, and possibly your fealty to the Hapsburgs and/or Holy Roman Empire! :P

I actually shelled out for the Sling tier with ESPN so I can watch live tomorrow, which likely means Italia will faceplant. Ma Forza Italia lo stesso!

It's funny that you say that, I always kind of root for the Burgundians in historical dramas and stuff. Even when they're the villains!

I actually love penalty shootouts when it's not my team involved. It's not just a toss up like flipping a coin. It's a mental game. The mentally tougher, less fearful team will win it. That's why you see a lot of misses in the 4th or 5th shot. The pressure has to be highest at that point.

Mine is Prussia because my grandfather was born there in 1870.

Say hi to the Azzurri when you get there, I think they're still on CEDT. Once the game starts it will be exciting!

Thankfully, chaotic stumble goals count just as much as pretty ones.
