To the disappointment of OL fans, there were no OL teams in the R69 Finals.
New York Patriots-OL lost 4 in a row in their Sub-League Series and the Keystones offense decided not to show up to their Sub-League Series. For the Keystones, the team that they narrowly beat out for a Division title came back to avenge their loss and repaid Keystone two fold! ![]() The R69 Pro/Reg looks like this: ![]() -30- |

Two teams ready to go for next week. Would love to say I adjusted my friend list but I, like everyone else can't.
Not disappointed or surprised Sugar Hill fell to Cary. In two of the loses we gave up a combined 7 unearned runs. It wouldn't have changed the outcome but giving the Southpaws extra outs isn't recommended. Good luck to all still playing. |

In an update on I222, Southpaws and Nowhere Men are heading "nowhere" in the Iron Series, with Cary up 3-2. So it is probably 50% either way, as Cary just has to win one game, but Nowhere is favored at home.

Southpaws Prevail in I222
Cary wins the all OL World Series match-up, getting a modicum of revenge for getting knocked off their OL throne by the Nowhere Men. Congratulations!

Since the playoffs were over quickly for me, I summarized my moves for all three teams for tomorrow. I kinda screwed up this season in somehow overlooking that I did not have backups for some of my shortstops and second basemen. I guess that's called a brain-fart.
Anyway, I made changes to fix that issue AND make a few improvements. As always in an FTP environment, it's painfully slow... Click on image twice to magnify.

Only ST132 Left
The Universe screen does not update other leagues that often, so the last word had Bluffton leading Annadale, 2-1. Other than that we're done for the week. Hopefully the friends list doesn't go completely fubar.

Stone 132 Final Update
Congrats to Bluffton on winning the Stone World Series!
Annandale was not quite up to the task. The final promotion list is also provided below. See you all in Iron! Last edited by Charlatan; 04-25-2021 at 08:21 PM. |

Bluffton Bags OL World Series in ST132
Two of the old school franchises met in all OL World Series tilt. The Boomerangs outlasted the Atom Smashers 4-games-to-2. Both teams joined early in PT 20 and have remained league stalwarts. Congratulations!
It was a good season. Let's hope things don't go too far awry for next week. |

It does appear that if the Friends List options are not restored, we will not be able to have any input as to how we are assigned. It will be nothing more than luck of the draw - and that's assuming our current friends list isn't "glued" into all future results.

Congrats to the winners... looking forward to next season.
while the Syrups did their usual crash and burn for an early exit, there was some end of year hardware to be earned. Capping off his dominant season, Waffletown's Cy Young was awarded both the Pitcher of the Year and the MVP award. |

I'm feeling pretty anxious about the league draw today.
We don't know if our friend lists are even still working yet...

Well at least when I check show friends I do get the list from this past week. So with that still intact we should get most people depending on how everyone friended people above and below their current level based on promotion and relegation from the season that just ended. I believe your theme is New York players. Have you thought of widening your criteria to include those born in one of the five boroughs? Rocky Colavito, for example, springs to mind from my youth as one such player. I think Frankie Fritsch would be another. Of course, if you want greats like Tony Graffanino you'll have to include Long Island. There would be a ton of players for you to choose from. I bring it up because I was considering it for one of my autopilot teams if I ever actually decide to do some thing with them. Last edited by Stanley Kuppchaser; 04-26-2021 at 07:01 AM. |

Friends list is still showing as broken for me but the live update is.... uh.... live! Note on one of the cards. Also note the pretty nice card I got in the pack!

I held onto Yu Darvish, but he only went up one point. I had four of my silver lives go up to gold, but they were locked.

All Things Considered...
Not too bad. Fom what I could tell the list still worked. Iron Maiden missed stone, but they were missed before the friends list broke and couldn't be updated. Jackson is an outlier and I'm beginning to think they may be on autopilot for now.
The bronze 235 has a nice spread for nine teams, with two each in four divisions and Port Ruppert by itself. Maybe if they learn to behave hey can be with the other kids. |

LabRats are working on getting to their Reds theme, so they may stumble a bit in the upcoming season.

The friends lists are clearly still working in the background as I202 is loaded with OL teams.

Coney Island has a monumental task this week in a division with three teams that have averaged playing .700 ball. If they go 15-42 vs those teams (which is about their average) we need to play at .630 clip to finish .500. I think we will need to add more promotional days at the ballpark to keep the season ticket holders entertained.
