No OL games in Stone yesterday and no crown to award this week but here’s a little love for the stone teams
Left Coast is 29-25 and holding down the first wildcard spot. The LabRats got off to a slow start but are 7-3 in their last 10 and are 7 back in their division. Chuck Klein in 2nd in the league in both HR’s (13) & RBI (43). Jefferson Valley is 28-24 and has a slim ½ game lead on the second wildcard. They trail the division leading Hamilton Ding Jackers by 17.5 games. After a hot start the Rebels have come down the earth dropping 15 of 26 in May. Daytona Beach is 24-28 and in 4th place and like the Rebels stuck in a division with a very good team in the Ding Jackers. Daytona Beach is 0-7 vs. Hamilton and 24-21 vs. the rest of us. Ft. Huachuca is 27-26 in second place 9.5 games back of the other Hamilton team, the Fat Guys and 1 ½ off the second wildcard spot. They are 4-10 vs. the two Hamilton teams and 23-16 vs. the rest. They are second in the league in HR’s with 82. The Buffalo Soldiers hook up 5 times at the end of the month with Rebels in their first OL action of the season. Prior to the Rebels hosting the Buffalo Soldiers they are in Florida for a three game set vs. Daytona Beach. Overall in a league that has a couple of teams loaded with some high diamonds and mix of teams from the BFF league which are always tough, the four teams are playing some good baseball. |

Weston Pointe, Palolo Close Gap in OL S279
The Highland Raccoons continue to lead, but the Caspers and Puppies are staying within range. Cary finally got off the sidelines, splitting a pair with Weston Pointe. However, the Southpaws remain a danger in the chase because six of their eight remaining OL games are against the moribund Asylum Keepers.

Hartford Pauses, Remains the Leader in OL I156
The Whalers took the day off from OL rigors, but continued to lead. Terra Incognita remained close at hand, and was the only team that was particularly busy during OL play yesterday. In fact, I think they were involved in all three OL series that were played, but I'm too lazy to go back and check.

I think Waffletown is still drunk from last season's celebration.... can't hit to save their lives so far this year (if you're seeing three baseballs coming at you, trying swinging at one of the others ![]() |

Yes.. Those Ding Jackers must have spent a TON of money.. Good strategy this week is for me to accumulate as many pp as possible and then try for some shrewd AH purchases..

Finally finished the DBacks LIVE mission and placed 95-R.Johnson as my ace. Got 7 games today vs the Boomerangs. Will go packs only until I get a big fish that I can sell off and continue other missions with.

Is there a way to sort team stats for the entire league? I've found that when looking at total league stats they are sorted by division.
There must be a way to do it but I can't figure it out!!

Stone Update
At the half way point Daytona Beach leads in the OL head-to-head games with a 5-4 record. Jefferson Valley is 8-8 and Ft. Huachuca is 3-4.
The Rebels beat the Buffalo Soldiers 4-2 in their first meeting of the season yesterday. The teams split the remaining six games combining for 90 runs in those six. Daytona Beach and Jefferson Valley hookup today after the All Star break. In Stone League. Left Coast trails their division by 4 games and leads the AC wildcard by 4 games. Since May 1 they have been playing well powered by their pitching. In the NC we have a log jam of teams jockeying for the two WC spots. |

Bronze
The only change in the standings is Krikkit jumping over Port Ruppert and Coney Island to move into 3rd place trailing both of Charlatan's teams who still hold the top two spots.
In Bronze play at the halfway point: AC Coney Island is the only division leader among OL teams despite going 10-17 in June. Krikkit has a stranglehold on the first WC spot with as many as 7 teams capable of competing for the second spot. NC Brigadoon leads the WC race and trails in their division by 6.5 games. Annadale at 9.5 back for the 2nd WC spot seems to be the only other OL team within striking distance. They have a lot of work to do to pass Ouran, they have a pretty deep roster. |

Weak Link Key to Crown in S279?
As the Asylum Keepers staggered to another dismal month, they may have revealed themselves to be the (broken) straw that stirs the OL drink this season. It seems that the team that plays them most is likely to prevail in the crown chase, which sets up Weston Pointe as the current favorite. Cary still has games remaining, but none with the league's whipping boys. It was previously reported that the Southpaws had only 10 OL games scheduled, but that was incorrect. Perhaps I figured that before the schedule had begun, and, when it went to final configuration, it was changed, as has happened in the past in PT. Be that as it may, teams have been circling the Asylum games on their calendars, and not just because they love the delicious Keeper Cakes. Asylum has fallen just into relegation, but they have flirted with the needed demotion the last three weeks as well, only to stave it off with late rallies.

Despite PT Freefall, Rustlers Top OL I156
In the midst of a 9-19 month that saw them drop out of sight in that other league, Terra Incognita took advantage of a month where OL teams took turns beating each other up to gain the top spot as the end of the season's first half approaches.

Well that's a nice little PP boost to see when I checked in today. Came in at 15,550 PP for the game. I'll take that.

Bronze update
Despite good days by both Krikkit and Port Ruppert, Brigadoon is not taking its foot off the gas going 7-0 yesterday. Unless they turn into the 1951 Dodgers the crown is theirs to lose.
Bronze play sees Coney Island (23-32 since June 1st) still leading the AC East but Waffletown has reduced that lead by 5.5 games from 12.5 behind to 7. The Syrups are currently tied with the gang from Port Ruppert for the second wildcard spot with Mundys having two games in hand. Krikkit owns the first wildcard. Over in the NC Brigadoon is pretty solid in the WC race and trail in their division by 6.5 games. |

Stone Update
Jefferson Valley took four of six from Daytona Beach yesterday while Ft. Huachuca was idle. Daytona Beach and Ft Huachuca meet for the first time today. The Rebels are 12-11, Daytona Beach 8-8 and Ft Huachuca 3-4. 10 OL games remain Daytona Beach squares off seven times with Ft Huchuca and closes their season with 3 games vs the Rebels. No crown to be won but bragging rights on the line.
In Stone play, Left Coast trails their division by 2 games and holds the first wildcard. Its shame they weren't in the mix with the rest of us, they probably have the best balanced roster of the OL teams competing in Stone. On the other side, the Rebels and Buffalo Soldiers are battling for a wildcard spot. The Rebs hold a one game lead on the Buffalo Soldiers for the second wildcard both behind the first spot by 5.5 and 6.5 respectively. |

Cary Completes OL Schedule on Top in OL S279
The Southpaws have finished their OL schedule in first place, and now must await the results of the remaining three contenders, basically to see which will lay the most prodigious beating on the woeful Asylum squad. The Keeper factor would seem to favor Palolo, as the Puppies have 13 games remaining with the cellar dwellers. Weston Pointe has seven and Highland 6. Sadly, Asylum has again begun to turn it around enough to escape relegation, which has doomed at least the past four seasons to low win totals and low earnings. Even their pack enviable pack luck of the early going has deserted them.
