Yeah. That was Knight, I believe. He said he was going to be busy for a couple weeks. Should be back soon, I hope. Anyway, Fenway 1940 is really a nice job. Much liked.

Knight1376 was working on Eastern Park in Brooklyn when he took time off.

Frazee era Fenway is a tall order. I wouldn't expect anyone would want to take it on.

BTW, I made a small tweak to the Fenway Park 1970 model. This IS something that will work in the 3D model, not a mockup. I fixed the monster scoreboard so that it is more in line with how it was configured during that time.

I've included the monster scoreboard .png file with this post. All you have to do is take the the file and replace the existing file in your Fenway Park 1970 texture subfolder. (Silvam, hope you don't mind)

Here's another fictional stadium based off of a Dreamteams stadium (also modified my mile high stadium to make this)

Loved Blueturf's creations. Great to see these reincarnations. Guess you're the Blue and adion's the turf, combining for what's becoming almost an overwhelming number of outstanding choices, even for us fictional users. Yay, yay, yay...to your talent!

Thanks. Since I don't really have a creative mind. Blueturf's stadiums lay it out perfectly for me.

He even had a few day/night, IIRC. It was the first real flavor that added to the screen experience. With 3D, you've taken it to another level. I bet you didn't realize you were aspiring to icon status when this all began, did you?

Silvam, when you get a chance, please check out Metropolitan Stadium for the Twins. It has a wicked tilt to it that can't be remedied. Unless of course you have already fixed it. Bigger tilt than the Yankee Stadium one, I believe. Thank you.

Thanks for the heads up. I looked at it and it is pretty easily fixable. using the Z rotate buttons make sure to set the degrees to ".2" or something really low for fine tuning.

I'll fix it on my end anyhow and re-upload

Just wanted to point out that the original is actually Easton Ballyard (a Dreamteams fictional mod), guys. I know it's difficult to keep up with who created some of these fictional parks contributed to the community. But, was quite flattered when I saw you were inspired to make a 3D park out of it, Silvam14. It looks great. Thanks.

Mea culpa dreamteams. I downloaded those ages ago and thought it was blueturf. I have quite a few that I was going to work on. Did you create armed forces stadium too? The ones I have may all be from you. I will update my previous credits to you.

Thanks

Ok. Thanks. The Z axis. I guess that controls the left/right tilt. Don't know why I missed this before. I'll give it a go.

Worked great. Thanks for the tip. You learned me something, today. lol

Love these fictional models, used to use BlueTurfs stuff in the earlier OOTP versions.

Thanks. I was wrong about the source though. Appears these were dreamteams' stadiums

of weeks ago. It was only in 76 or 78 that Busch switched to full astroturf
infield with sliding pits.

The strangest of them all was Comiskey from 69-76 -Silvam also did this
version- they had an astroturf infield while still maintaining a grass
outfield!

Those were weird configurations with the astro-turf/dirt combinations. I recall that as a kid when watching NFL games that were played at Three Rivers, I always wondered HOW could the player uniforms get dirty as if they were playing on a dirt/grass field when the field was CLEARLY astroturf...

I'd forgotten about Busch doing that.

The Comiskey one had to be the weirdest! Glad they came to their senses and restored the field back to grass and dirt! Now if only they could have kept the ballpark itself standing!! I've been to U.S. Cellular - it ain't Comiskey!!

Love the remakes of the Blueturf stadiums! Makes them seem a whole lot less fictional.

As a goof or just to check out how they'd be I'd love to see a quick run at what one of the major soccer stadiums would look like or even.

Back in Earl Weaver Baseball (I'm pretty sure) when you could make stadiums I'm pretty sure I remember putting a team in the Carrier Dome.

I don't expect a project out of them but maybe something a little different.

Grid vs. park question

How do you adjust the grid to the park? For instance, in your League Park, the grid is bigger than the field and, I think, that is why when a home run is hit over the right field wall, the player goes through the wall chasing the ball. I have tried the in game adjustments but can't find a way to make the field fit the grid or vice verse. You can see in the picture that parts of the ground grid extend past the fence. I am no sure what the sloping grid lines to the outside of the field have to do with it but I suspect they have an impact. I have had some similar problems with out fields.

Not a big problem, just an annoyance.

Thanks.
