The grid beyond the wall is used for where the ball lands and is not part of the playing field. If fielders are going through the wall, then that should be reported in the bug thresd

I have reported it in the past as well as balls bouncing around from right field to left field and back for a ground out. All to no avail. Thanks. I guess I will live with it until it is fixed, hopefully in OOPT 18 or sooner.
Have I mentioned that you parks are great? |

Yeah, I need a break I think. I think historical parks are in good shape now, with the exception of the pre 30's and 40's (I'm not really planning on going back that far)
I was working on another of dreamteams' fictional stadiums and then I just haven't had the urge to fire up sketch up on the past almost a week. I know I'll be back, just need to regroup a bit. I'm glad I was able to put out a ton of content so far to keep everyone happy Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What else is there? Minor league parks? I think the rest of us should pick up the slack (read: motivating myself). You went 8 2/3 innings; leave the rest up to the bullpen ![]() |

I have done some minor league parks. Not sure what the demand is on those since I would assume most don't play out their minor league games. However they could make good fictional stadiums too Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That said, you know what I'd like to do? Take some major league parks - like, your version of Petco for example - remove the upper deck and seats in the outfield, as well as some of the objects behind the fence. Change the color of the fence and boom! Fictional/minor league park based on a major league park. It'd be a down and dirty way to make fictional stadiums. The other idea I had was to modernize the old ballparks. It's something I would like to try. The trouble is, I keep expecting sketchup to work like a paint program i.e. photoshop or paint.net and it's nothing like that. Hence, I get frustrated with it. But as far as you go Silvam... don't lift a finger. You've done your fair share. The rest of the community should really take it over. Last edited by drksd4848; 10-04-2016 at 04:55 PM. |

1979 topps template
Silvam, I know this is off topic, but do you still have your 1979 topps card template?

I think 1979 is one of the ones I had to redo of Silvam's so it may have my name on it. If you can find it I can tell you it's in the all-in-one as part the baseball card set.

Thanks. Unfortunately no. It would be gigabytes. I may put these all together at some point. I've been meaning to organize them

I have all of Silvam's excellent historical parks in a zip file. These are ones that I put backgrounds on and some I made into eras but changing some of the signage. I am not happy with all the backgrounds and will change some. I am now trying to interface Silvam's parks with the 3D attendance function in OOTP with the help of someone from here. If/when I figure out how to do that, I will update the ones I have put backgrounds on, change the backgrounds that need changing and upload them. The 3D crowd thing is confusing and time consuming. I don't know when/if I will get'r done.
The file is just over 1 gig. As soon as it finishes uploading I will post the link here. I also think his parks are awesome! |

Not sure if this is the place to ask this question, but I did some edits using SIVAM'S ballparks (beautiful!) but they don't save when I leave the page or game. Also, don't see nighttime stadiums. I have one .jpg file in each stadium file. Thanks for your help.

cleveland stadium 1954
I have been fooling around trying to make the crowds in your parks 3D. Very limited success so far. Working with Blender is not a lot of fun. Anyway, when working with your Cleveland 1954 park I have a problem that I can't seem to fix. Anytime I make a change to something in the park the bottom of the park, as shown in the picture, shows up as the field in the game. It seems like it is linked to one or more of the textures in the model and I can't figure out how to fix it. I All of your other model that I have looked at only have the infield grass when you look at the bottom. How do I fix it in Sketchup?
Thanks. Never mind. I was able to erase the 'underlay'. Last edited by adion; 12-02-2016 at 08:54 PM. |

Hi Everyone, I'm back. I'll try to do some of the earlier parks although I am not familiar in any way with most. I see some can be done with modifications to parks I have already done.
With that in mind, I give you: Forbes Field 1909 and 1947

Isn't this 1947 version the same as your previous Forbes Field with no date? Also, the axes is off in the 1909 version.
