just tried to auto import all parks from the models folder and it didn't import any of them,,if i load the file in the load 3d and it loads it for a team is the park dimensions correct or do have to load the prk file as well

You have to manually import each park’s prk file

Adion: thank you so much for your advice. I didnt know it was THAT simple (albeit time consuming). All the hist parks are now in my Steam OOTP 21 game and I started up a sample HIST replay season ('56) and they're working!
Of course, they don't have the new camera angles that the new BPs have...maybe someone can work on that at some point. BUt for now, your guys' brilliant work has made things much more palatable. ON to the replay!

in the park editor screen got to the ACTION then select manual import data for this park. You will get the list of parks in the models folder. Find the one you want and click on it. When It opens, select the .prk file and it will import that park. the park dimension are what Mike thought they should be. If you don't like them, just enter what you want and save them. I would then export that park and then copy the new .prk file back to that park folder.

I have a mind numbingly dumb question to ask... I've been fighting with this for a bit, trying to import this file. When I get to the final part, manually importing the data, the PRK file, it tries to use Internet Explorer to open the file, which doesn't work. What tool or app do I use to open the PRK file? I know I'm doing something stupid, I'm not super PC literate, but I'm a bit lost at your very easy and simple directions.

you import it from within OOTP21 when your in the park editor screen click the actions button it's in there manually import data from park , go to the models folder in ballparks folder. then open the ballpark you want to import click .prk file

Yeah, that's what I've done and no luck, I go to import the PRK file and it tries to just open it with IE which just leads me to nowhere:

silvam...Ive been joyously downloading all your historical BP work for OOTP21 on Steam today...thanks for taking all the time to do these. THey look great and ,as always, make the historical replays that much more enjoyable!

Thanks. I haven't finished uploading them all yet, but when I do, I'll announce it here. Should be a big help to those who use steam.

Of course, I encountered an issue where the game stops displaying workshop items after I create so many so I'm stuck at Polo Grounds until they can fix that

Thanks for all your hard work! I'm an OOTP rookie and I'm trying to use your Municipal Stadium (KC) for the Kansas City Monarchs. But when I uploaded the 3D model it was just a black screen? Did I do something wrong?

Yes, I also was able to get a different ballpark to work correctly for a separate team.

Update: I scrolled up on the black picture and I can see sky. So it's almost like the model did upload but the stadium in the model is just black now for some reason? Could it maybe have something to do with it being an older file in the new game?

All of those textures belong in a subfolder called [parkname]_textures. I would delete and re install the park. Just open the zip, and stage the main folder to the models directory

I didn't realize you actually had Muehlebach field or I would've tried that one from the start. Anyway, for some reason that keeps happening--I downloaded a file from someone else and it came in with the textures folders. But the two Muehlebach/Municipal ones have had the same error...I even tried to create the textures folder myself and put them all in there but that didn't work either. Weird.
