Hi I am the great niece of Harry Devereaux Fisher, I am curious if you have this card and how much it would cost to buy?! He is my Grandmother's younger brother, she is now 90 and would love to have his card for her collection, Harry came from a family of 8 children and they all played baseball, my grandmother and her twin sister played for a team called the Florence chicks here in Canada and she and her sister were inducted into the county hall of fame and my grandmother has a kept a book of her and her sisters career as well as Harry's clippings and this would be a great addition. I look forward to hearing from you and thank you so much for your post, it's amazing to see!

Unfortunately it appears that the photo shown in Baseball-Birthdays' earlier post has been sold, and there are no other photos for sale on eBay right now (that was the source for the other picture). I was able to find digital images of these other photos, the first with the ca. 1949-50 New Orleans Pelicans, and the second with the Pirates during spring training 1952.

Baseball card reprint. Color image is better than pitchers or facepack... but is a floating head and a drawing. There are always trade-offs aren't there?

Due to potential liability issues, the old Baseball-Birthdays de-autographing and de-watermarking requests thread has been closed and all of the images in the closed thread removed from OOTP servers. The closed thread included, among other things, instances where watermarks had been removed from copyrighted images. Watermarks are designed to enforce copyright and deter image use without permission. Circumventing such copyright protection creates an exposure risk for OOTP. OOTP has been kind enough to let us use this forum to share photos and improve photopacks, but we will not be able to continue to use their forum if we create potential legal exposure for them.

I have opened a new image cleanup thread, with some specific guidelines outlined in the initial post. I based these guidelines on discussions I've had with the OOTP moderators, and believe we have a set of parameters that will work for everyone. I propose that we'll use these simple guidelines for both image posting and cleanup requests on all of the OOTP photo threads:

De-watermarking requests and fulfillment will no longer be allowed, but de-autographing requests and fulfillment, along with other cleanup requests that do not circumvent copyright protection (such as cropping, enlarging, sharpening, rotating, etc.) will still be allowed on the forums.
