Do any of you guys have an example of how your faces will look in the game? Like a Player Profile from 11 with the historical facegen faces inserted?

Hi,

Will there be an announcemet as to where we can download this stuff once OOTP 11 comes out? Are there any posts anywhere outlining what years / players have been done? I will be starting a league in the 1970s or 1980s and would liek to incorporate your faces if they exist for this era.

Will these face gens work in a fictional league? Asking because it might be fun to rename a player or two with a historical name just to see them in the league and/or have some fictional guys show up with "real" pictures.

I will be sending two files to Padresfan on Monday morning, the 2010 MLB set and the Historical set.

The FG files are also part of a super all in one addon from add on central, in game

Yes. They're the exact same thing the game produces, but we produced them using player photos.

I apologize if this isn't the right place for this question, and thank you to the amazing team that has been working on this.

I'm at work (clearly not working, but not playing OOTP either). I am excited to use this historical FaceGen set and am excited to see it is already on on the PadresFan website.

Will I be able to install it specifically for a single saved game file. I notice the all-in-one mod needs to be installed before the game is created. I assume this mod would then effect all subsequent games created.

I would like to avoid this so that when I create a fictional league, players that happen to have the same name as a current or historical player, don't have the same face.

In short, if it doesn't auto install to a particular save file how do I manually install it. Is it as simple as copying and pasting the .fg files into the images folder (in the appropriate save file of course)?

Thank you again for any help and an enormous thank you to everyone who put work into this project.

I downloaded the ones available at the soxxcountry forum, Sparrow. Can actually place them anywhere you want on your HD. Then when using the import image feature just navigate to where you saved them. Placed mine in the a seperate folder in the OOTP11 photos folder and named it historical faces. Works super. Great to have these unique faces in my fictional league.

I can't imagine you imported each one. So there is an option to choose import image, and it accesses all files in a given folder? Super cool and easy. I've never noticed that before and always added my logos, uniforms, and caps 1-1. I think this will be saving me some time.

No need for all that work, just create a dummy league, and go to add on central, load and install all in one all leagues and all new historical leagues created will have fg pics, photos, logos and Parks

I'm actually importing them to fictional players, so yes, it is one by one. Thought that's what you where thinking of doing. If so, the images can be accessed through your player's page. Just click on 'pictures' at the player's profile page then click on 'import face file'. After that navigate to your file and select the face you want to import. That's it.

Kagnew35, I'm trying to avoid that since I don't want all future leagues to use the files, just the one. Perhaps this isn't how it works, but I had that happen in OOTP X where fictional players had photos from the photo pack because they shared a name.

I downloaded and installed the historical Face Gen pack through Add-Ons Central, but all of the Face Gen files were placed in the root directory of the OOTP 11 documents. Shouldn't they have gone into the Face Gen or FG Files folder?

I wasn't seeing any historical Face Gen images despite creating a new historical game after the installation. So I had to manually move all the FG files into the FG files folder.

There appear to be problems with players who have a number in the file name. They don't seem to appear in the game.

Found the problem with the installer. Sorry about that!!! I will have an updated version of the "Historical FaceGen Images" mod ready on my server in the next 3 hours or so. This one will install the files in the proper directory so no manual moving of files will be necessary. Stay tuned, I will post here when it is ready...
