If I create a 2015 League what Team does Ben Zobrist show up?
Can we Import Minor League Teams? Any way to prevent like Rotation going back to 5 every year when I have it 6 when started League? Any way in either a Historical League or 2016 one to unretire everybody in one step?

The IP/InnOuts issue files have not been updated yet. Will be in Update 1.
I will double check though.

Thank you Spritze. Some of them almost look like their IP totals are their real IP Outs totals if that helps. Just a guess on my part, but when you see 0.50 and lower WHIPs the mind starts to wander in that direction. Again, not everybody is like this so...

I believe I'm zeroing in on this Spritze. Let's look at Justin Verlander as an example. The first image is his real life real stats. The second image is his real life neutralized stats. In his neutralized stats he has one line (the second one) that matches up exactly with his 2015 real life stats. All good so far.
The line above that looks like an attempt to neutralize, but it looks like IP outs somehow got read as IP, so he has three times as many IP as he should have on that line. He has 309.0 IP on that line, whereas I would contend that it should be 103.0 IP. That would put things in line with the 2014 numbers for this neutralization, and the numbers make more sense when you do that. Total innings comes out to 236.0 instead of 442.0. ERA comes out to 3.89 instead of 2.08. WHIP comes out to 1.22 instead of 0.65. HR/9 comes out to 0.8 instead of 0.4. BB/9 comes out to 2.4 instead of 1.3, and K/9 comes out to 7.4 instead of 3.9. That sounds much more Verlanderish. Not to mention in that first line, the one with the 309.0 IP there's an impossible BABIP of .108. Normal BABIPs are usually almost three times that much - hence back to the suggestion that there are three times as many innings as there should be. ![]() |

A handful of players with clearly incorrect DOB. This is from the list of retired players circa 1920. The few at the top of the list show DOB in 1995.

These players have birthdays in the Lahman MLB database we used to use that makes them under 10 yrs old. I made them all older by a decade and also changed 6 more I found.

1919 Texas League outfielders all have exactly the same defensive rating. The fielding stats are in Baseball-Reference.

I'll make a 1919 league so I can see what you are looking at.

I have scouting turned off, so I'm getting the real ratings.

Root cause is not ratings
Posted a bug report
No Batting, Pitching or Fielding data loads for 1919 which borks the ratings. Same issue in 1920.

Only one in the database. Do they both have the same birthdate?

yup. same birthday, location, height and real life stats. both have different weight and attributes.
the one on the active roster is a home run hitter with low "avoid K" attribute, and the Sarasota one has average power with a really high "avoid K" attribute i also just noticed that the active roster Pena has stats up till 2004 where the Sarasota one has stats up until 2003 |

2015 Royals updated because Rios is missing and when Import Team Zobrist is missing because Cueto shows up on Royals?

Figured I would post this here because it deals with historical play using historical minors. When you go to the history section of a league and select the players menu, it appears the players service time is messed up. Usually it would say 1921-27 or 21-27, or something to that effect. Now, I have no idea what the numbers represent.

This is just cosmetic. The game plays out fine. Update #2 in a couple of weeks will handle this.
