Took another win against the Cincinnati Reds, but unfortunately, the Giants won their game, so we didn't gain any ground on them this time. The Reds threatened to score more in the 6th, but Dean and others managed to limit the damage they did, somehow. CD out.

Combined shutout allows us to complete a three-game sweep of the Reds to help us keep pace with the Giants, but the Reds did have their chances against Avila, who was making his major league debut. The original starter expected to start the game was Red Ruffing, but I decided to have Avila start instead. Fortunately, the change of starting pitcher paid off for us this time.

By the way, Joel Harrison has already been restored to the 25-man roster by now, but I chose to bench him until his current injury time is over. Once that time is over, I'll likely want him as the team's primary closer/stopper reliever again very soon, if not immediately. Just so you know, everyone. That is all for now, then. CD out.

Gained a close win against the Phillies, to gain a game of ground on the Giants. Now we're a half-game back at the moment. Let's see if we can keep our current winning streak going at least one more game, if not more, then, folks. CD out.

Decided Ruffing should pitch this game instead of Avila or someone else. Unfortunately, things didn't work out well for us this game, so we lost some ground on the Giants this time around. That is all. CD out.

A No-Hitter in one of the Negro Leagues, if there's more than one of them as of 1934, has now been thrown, if one hasn't been thrown since the start of this dynasty in any of them, at least. I haven't checked the history of any of the dynasty's current leagues to see if any no-hitters have been thrown since the start of the current save yet, or at least not for a while, I believe.

Two out of three against the hapless Phillies so far isn't too bad, I think. They drew first blood against us this game, but fortunately, we were able to come back and snatch victory away from them here, and get back to half a game back of the Giants. Three games are next against the Braves, and then we finally tangle with the Giants, it seems, during the regular season. That is all. CD out.

Hank Greenberg goes totally nuts against the Red Sox with six hits, and his teammates also shred them by a score of 28-11. That is all. CD out.

Game 3 against the Braves this series goes their way, unfortunately, preventing us from sweeping them this series. But two of three for it isn't too bad, I think. As long as we keep winning series, we should hopefully be able to keep fairly close to the Giants and others near us in the standings, if not get past them in them, of course. Giants managed a split of the four-game series against us, unfortunately, so we're back of them again by half a game. Hubbell really took it to us, as did the rest of his teammates, it seems. Dodgers are next, as well. That is all for now. CD out.

Took a 7-2 win from the Dodgers, but both Waner boys seem to have gotten hurt with yet-undiagnosed injuries. I think Paul may be out for a while with a leg injury, after seeing parts of the game through visual replay of the action for it, but no idea yet on Lloyd, seeing as Lloyd got hurt making a game-ending catch, evidently. Here's another win for us. Looks like the Waner boys have day-to-day injuries, but I'm still benching them for two weeks, at the least, so that they'll be healthier later, hopefully. CD out.

Took a bad loss, but at least we got two out of three against the Dodgers. Going to see if I can't get some more good players for the team soon, seeing as some other players aren't exactly performing as well as I might have hoped they would. Braves took the first game of a three-game series against us, and Pepper Martin got hurt. Don't know how bad yet, but we'll find out soon enough, of course, I'm sure. CD out.

Here's another win to keep us ahead of the Giants. We need to collect as many wins as we can, because I don't think the Giants are going to be so easy to dethrone as I hoped they would be, especially if we continue to have key players get hurt frequently enough. We're facing the Giants in the Polo Grounds once we get out of Boston here, in fact. That's all for now, at least, then. CD out.
