As Hawkguy mentioned, we have our official announcement of FHM9, with the trailer dropping, release date, going over new features, and of course Q&A with Jeff at 10pm Eastern on our Twitch Channels (see the links in my Signature) on November 2nd.

the new FHM9 trailer has got me pumped!! all Div I NCAA teams, plus enhances to trades and injuries and others
Nov 8th can't come soon enough!

question I don't use Steam, is there any advantage to get the game through Steam vs just purchasing/buying directly from the OOTP site, other than the fact that Steam is cloud-based?

Steam takes a % of the sale. If you buy through OOTP on Fastspring they get the full sale.

I personally go this route. I like to make sure the devs & co. keep the most $$ and give the most support.

Also good chance if like with their hockey game it wouldn't be cloud save enabled due to save file size.

The big advantage for buying from steam is with steam workshop and maybe for transfering license between devices being easier

That's why I typically buy the game off Steam. I used to also get the FastSpring version when they use to offer early access to the game.

This is more or less the reason I am buying it for the first time on steam this year. I'm an early access fiend hehehe

Usually it’s early access or automatic updates when u load steam instead of downloading the exe file every update and installing other then that those are only benefits.. this year there is no early access because of what they said in stream so no benefit of where I get game this year..

I hear u on the ncaa front… I’m gonna release all players from a ncaa team recreate a ncaa team from no history no nothing relocate them and create the school from scratch.
