That last London one is perfect, hadn't thought about shaping the bottom like that but it works really well and agree that's the best one. I'm using the Brazil coloured small Redeemer logo, which fits the main one well. Finally, that Skiers logo is both playful and classy looking. Thanks for infusing so much life into my league 20_range!

Kano Camels 1
this idea ended up looking like a corporate logo and needs some work - or to be thrown away

I know what you mean about looking a bit corporate, but only for the camel as an 'N' one (which I still like). I'll definitely be using the camel with writing on it one, which looks perfect in game too. Any chance you could make a small version that is just that camel but with no text? Thanks as always!

btw after living in Philly for ten years, I had to look up what a grouse was ![]() ![]() edit: I looked up the grouse and it actually looks great. Also it could fit with that weird few years where the Phillies rebranded as the Blue Jays. It's a great name, kinda of like that legend where Franklin proposed the turkey as the national bird rather than the eagle. Why not the grouse? ![]() Last edited by 20_range; 09-06-2023 at 10:00 PM. |

thanks for the small camel logo 20_range! Ah, well you're probably better to come up with a name than me then. I live in Sheffield, England, so my names are purely based on Wikipediaing national/state birds, animals etc, as you'll have guessed.
That Phili Blue Jays logo is great, so yes if you can put together a Grouse version that would be perfect. I've always been a fan of the Phillies colour scheme, so was hoping to keep that for this team too. And thanks for educating me on the Camel Corps, I'm disappointed to have gone 35 years of life without knowing anything about that. Glad it has been rectified, great Wikipedia page. |

"I caught a train to Sheffield
But in my mind I was already in hell" This lyric from Beaten and Broken by the Mekons is pretty much the only thing I know about Sheffield. But I will read the Wikipedia page! I'll be looking at grouse illustrations today at work ![]() |

After reviewing the wikipedia page, yes I have seen Four Lions
![]() The quick outside view is that an old school baseball team would have to be called the Cutlers, matching with the Blades... or the Tuesday Cutlers... so anyway, the Sheffield Spoons ![]() |

These would all be great names. I live about 5 minutes' walk from Sheffield United's stadium actually. More of a Wednesday fan though as I really like owls. Unfortunately we're not the steel manufacturing giant we once were, but I think some of the higher quality stuff does still come from here. I think Sheffield Cutlers would be a particularly good name. Maybe one for my next league expansion...
In terms of a dinosaur, I'd say Sheffield Diplodocuses (Diplodocusi?) as the city is famous for how many trees it has, and I feel like that would be the city's spirit dinosaur. Sent from my Pixel 4a using Tapatalk

San Jose Sloths
Is this too.. um. I could change the colors
the sloth in the first small logo is meant to be in the shape of a J ![]() Last edited by 20_range; 09-11-2023 at 10:23 PM. |

These are great once again 20_range!! I was actually using your San Jose Nueve logo up to now (given that it has a sloths on it), but this is even better. The small 'SJ' with the Sloth as a J is particularly perfect. Colours fine with me, always been a big fan of the Cardinals logo, so all for taking it as inspiration!

Part of my long term project of going back and improving a lot of the teams that I made when I was really just starting. probably I'll try a San Salvador and then go back to my thread.

San Jose Sloths continued
I forgot to do the arm overlap thing. Also included a large SJ logo, and the Spanish version

Superb! The SJ with the yellow border is the winner. Tough to pick which of the others to use so will just interchange them a bit!
