Promotions like yours sure do make you scratch your head wondering "why".

Ha, yeah I was not that far from the relegation zone! I actually won the Division Series but then bowed out to an actual good team in the Championship Series. But yeah would have been best to hang out in Bronze for a few more years to accumulate more packs/points (this is my pack-only team).

Blake Snell threw me a no-hitter against the Rustlers early in the season, which will help me salvage a not-terrible amount of PP before I can get back to Bronze next season.

Piggybacking here … I'm in Silver 257 too! My team has been unconscious so far this week, but expecting to fall back to earth any second now.

I completed the Live collections, so my team is mostly those Special Edition players. I'm a little bummed that they are so common, but being FTP, I don't exactly have a good way to change them up until I earn enough to upgrade.

Other than a live Josh Hader, I don't think I have any Lives, so if I get rid of him, am I eligible to join OL? Do you have limits on whether you can cash in players you get from packs, or is that BFF?

Only six OL matchups yesterday. Highland remains atop the standings. Paolo visits Highland for a 4 game series today is in second place. The Puppies will also travel for a short two game series vs. Krikkit, the 6 OL games today. Shinbone and Coney Island are idol. As a matter of fact the Warriors don't have an OL game until August.

Haymakers Deliver Roundhouse to Lead OL S257

Despite their owner's previous comments Hooterville appeared to be in decidedly under its head as they left the Keepers reeling and punch drunk while they streaked to a dominating lead in OL S257. By the way, the previous standings may have had a few stray games left over from last week, since I reuse them each week. It's been fixed.

Jefferson Valley who is off roaming the bronze landscape alone are 26-29. A little disappointed in the performance so far. The pitching is middle of the pack but it seems they are lacking the timely hit they need. The Rebels are 3rd in hits, average and OBP and 12th in runs scored. We are starting a 4 game series vs the one team in the league thats loaded with 95+ rated diamonds so I don't expect today to start well. My overall goal with this team is to build the best team I can with no card rated higher than 89.

Bronze

"Beating the spread" takes on a different meaning in Bronze 239. The OL teams are so spread out, there haven't been many games played. Here are the standings so far...

Iron

Vlora has the early percentage point lead in Iron 184, however, the Left Coast LabRats seems to have a winning formula in OL play so far.

7 day average is not always a good and accurate benchmark on prices.
When I’m trying to determine if I want to complete the mission I use the seven day average for all the cards and I put the auction house price for the “value“ of the reward card. My calculation as to the worth of the mission takes that auction house price, subtract 10%, and subtract the cost to acquire the cards.

Well I agree the seven day value might not be great there’s no real good tools to determine the actual price and less you want to monitor incessantly.

I have been fortunate in that working at home allows me the time to truly auction house as much as I want each day. So I’m off and able to buy cards at the seven day average or slightly below.

I'll only have 7 OL games this season, so I wont be eligible for the title. Still waiting for that magic card to fund my live missions.

Had 2 different 2500PP achievements (4Ks and triple play) yesterday. That still didn't help.

Thanks for stopping in. It was fun to battle your team last season… And as it turns out this season too! I don’t know about OOTP‘s division placement strategy but they placed you, Annandale, and the Royals in the same division as last year so it feels like last year all over again. I have enjoyed the tough competition, though so far you’re walking all over me this year. Last year it took until the All Star break for Annandale to warm up so I’m hoping we can give you more of a fight the rest of this week.

LabRats, iirc, finished up the Dodgers and NL West missions on Sunday, giving them a nice boost coming into this week.

Syrups on a 7 game losing streak..... next game versus the Kansas City Blues (who are on a 14 game losing streak)...

something's gotta give

I predict a 50 inning scoreless game until one team's backup infielder is called in to pitch and walks four straight batters to lose 1-0

Hooterville Still Holds Hammerlock on OL S257

However, the Haymakers may yet face a challenge as Annandale began to play a few more games. Brigadoon and Port Ruppert also still have a reasonable look at them.

Paolo who took 3 of 4 from Highland yesterday also took the lead in the OL standings.

Highland has 3 game series vs Krikkit (their final 3 OL games), Shinbone and Paolo. Outside of that Shinbone hosts Paolo for 3 games.

To follow up on this post… Waffletown won that match up, but in classic fulfillment of their destiny they then lost the next two games to the Blues.

yeah, this is one of those seasons where we can't hit or pitch to save our lives; so now it's just a matter of whether they can avoid the relegation zone or not
