A week after the World Series, the team sat down with my agent and worked out a new contract, avoiding arbitration.

In 1990 I will be making nearly $1.7m

It seems that the Brewers signed Tom to a minor league deal after the season, but didn't protect him - so he is back!

Right before New Year's Eve, the Giants signed Harold Baines to a 4-year deal at $1.3m per year!
