Mack/Lynn Stewart?
Mack Stewart was a little-used relief pitcher for the Cubs in '44 and '45, and the first image I'm posting here is identified as Mack Stewart. He seems to be the same fellow as shown in the facepack.
Now... I've come across two images identified as "Lynn Stewart," but no Lynn Stewart is listed at bb-ref... this first Lynn Stewart kinda looks like Mack Stewart, I think... this next "Lynn Stewart" doesn't have much resemblance at all, at least to my eye, but then I'm often not so hot at matching faces... does anyone see these guys as being one and the same person? |
