Krantzbucks pics to colorize

Well here we go with my attempt at placing Jim Abbott in a turn back the clock Milwaukee Brewer/ Seattle Pilots' uniform. I colorized the original submitted image but was not pleased with the result. I next tried transposing Abbott's face onto an existing Pilots image. It was... interesting looking. So I kept looking and finally found a Jim Abbott photo and Pilots image that I thought blended well.

Just as an example of how important the source image is for a colorization or a photo-shop job of creating a good finished product, I present a starter effort on the Robert Green image submitted. I am by no means an expert at modifying images, having learned by trial and error and one brief tutorial page on GIMP (https://www.maketecheasier.com/color...tos-with-gimp/),
but most of these images are ones that I would not even attempt to colorize. I sometimes complete requests for hard to find players where there is no better source image, but turning these into quality colorizations, let alone modifying caps and uniforms is really beyond what I am able to do. So I will colorize the other images in this set, but I don't really see how to modify uniforms beyond adding a "s" to the cap.

Hall of Famer Edward Augustine "Big Ed" Walsh colorized with the Chicago White Sox.

Ed Walsh is my town's favorite son. Even has a PA blue and yellow historic sign posted up on the towns main intersection. The house he lived in is still there. I could walk to his house. Also, about a half mile or so the opposite direction, is Jenkins Twp. This is where Hughie Jennings was born. Probably both of them played against each other as kids and teenagers. Don't know for sure, though. Sorry to interup things. Just passing some info on. Thanks.
