July 1st 1959 Update
In the national League, the Philadelphia Phillies thought they were sitting in the drivers seat. On their way to another Playoff appearance. But the Chicago Cubs getting hot down at the
tail end of June, while the Phillies floundered a bit. Over in the American League, Baltimore is trying to hold off the Detroit Tigers, Cleveland, and the New York Yankees. Pitchingwise
last month saw a bunch of 1 hit shut outs. Something has got to give and maybe we will see a No Hitter.
