All Good Things
My plan was for this league to run for 20 seasons. Sadly, the game doesn't want to make that a feasible option with more than a quarter of players being forcibly retired at the end of the 1975 season. Plus the results were starting to show the age of those creating them, with some hinky old scorelines pervading last year's boxes.
So, as I always like to see happen with the IRL versions of these great players, I'm going to call time on this league before it overstays its welcome. Fifteen seasons tells us all we need to know - and is perhaps even a fairer representation than the proposed twenty. I'm going to take my time figuring out how best to present a summary for the PBL. I'll be mainly focusing on the best 20 position players and pitchers, but will run through the rest as well - albeit briefly. I'll start drip-feeding them once I've planned this out in full.
