hello brothers of the Our League, just wanted to come by and say hello. I've followed many of you over the years, run into many of you in tourneys, league etc. Enjoy observing your style of play. Don't run into the forum much, and got stuck on a lunch-long read through this thread. Anyways, keep up the grind!

One of the things I like is discovering players I'm not familiar with and learning more about them. I get a lot of that in my random debut league. |

I need to fill out my friends list for my second team (Gem City Bombers ) SPBJT1964.
I will have that done this week to be ready for next week. This team will be in Iron next week. John

Looks like Cedar Rapids is off to a pretty hot/lucky start in the first month. I don't expect it to last especially with Paxville and a number of BFF teams in the division.
Really slowed down on my tournament spamming over the past few days, and I'm now way behind on my data collection again. The teams have still managed to pull in some packs with the tournaments they did take part in. Not much to report in the way of new arrivals though. Pack luck seems to have tapped out for the time being after Pop Lloyd.

No other OL teams in my league Stone .126 I just checked and my Friends List was saved. I wonder if it is actually working?

I have noticed if you try and filter for Stone or Rookie league, it doesn't work. I wouldn't be surprised at all if that routine is actually used to group teams internally.

Yeah, in between seasons, Cary added 100 Oscar Charleston in CF, 100 Monte Irvin in LF, and 99 Buck Leonard at 1B. The result is clear --- a losing record so far in silver league... I guess those guys aren't good enough. ;-)

Been meaning to ask...
Is it Otsego, as in the city in Minnesota, or Otsego Lake, as in the body of water in New York. I can't quite picture the monster in my head and I'm afraid the Mundys will downplay the danger it presents. Perhaps I'm splitting hairs a bit here, but somehow an Otsego Lake Monster is one thing, and an Otsego Lake Monster is quite another.

Bronze 202 April
Short story after one month of the season. There is Algoma, Boulder City and then the field.
In PT play OL teams hold the lead or share of the lead in four of the five divisions that have OL teams in them. |

Nowhere Men Break on Top in OL S262
Nowhere was quick out of the gate while Lemp Ave. has yet to begin OL play.

Annandale forgot to post a good pull from yesterday. I think I wouldn't have posted it except I got a tremendous pull today from a pack that I received for locking one of the Lucroy BAL cards:

Well, Southpaws have FINALLY finished the negro league collection and added 100 Josh Gibson as their primary catcher. However, since they are now completely broke, they have put Jackie up for auction, hopefully to recoup some of the devastating losses they took on while completing the collection.
They have five players on their main roster acquired to complete the collection or as rewards: 100 CF Oscar Charleson (reward) 100 C Josh Gibson (reward) 100 LF Monte Irvin (locked) 99 1B Buck Leonard (locked) 89 super-utility (C, 1B, SS, LF, CF, RF) Heavy Johnson (locked) Warning: completing the collection is NOT cheap. It took about 700k total investment, which included getting great deals on Irvin (166k) and Buck Leonard (95k)

.It took me fully 12 months to complete the PT21 NL mission with my packs team. Mainly because for 11 months I only pulled 1 gold! Nice to have a bit of OL company in my division this week, and Paper St. (not seeing the new logo yet). I didn't realize when I joined OL that I'd actually signed up to BFF .

Well, I didn't spend that 700k all at once

Meanwhile, it doesn't seem that the new cards are helping my team at all. I am still stuck at .500 winning percentage this season (much worse than last season in silver), which is kind of a downer with the "supposed" improvements to the team.

Just a short update on my HRB teams;
Gettysburg and Cleveland are looking like they both might drop a level next week (Stone and Iron respectively). The competition is still too tough. Baltimore, however, is holding at .500 and may be able to hold onto Iron for another week week. One thing that is obvious; back in PT19 a Gold/Diamond roster would have pretty much guaranteed you a Gold Level position, but PT22 barely gets you out of Stone! It a lot longer road than it use to be.
