Brooklyn won a tight one over Chicago as Pat Moran knocked in Bill Bradley in the bottom of the north for the 3-2 walk-off win.

Jimmy Sheckard got the other two RBI.

The Orphans came back to make a game of it in the second game of the double-header but the Superbas held on to beat them 6-4.
