Just pre-ordered OOTP for the first (and certainly not the last) time. And I'm not sure if words can adequately describe my excitement.

I haven't yet, but I will sometime after I get paid this month and before March 1st. Historical minor leagues is an automatic clincher for me. The new GM profiles are an important step in the right direction even if they don't revolutionize gameplay first year out. The rest is a mix of stuff I'm not too bothered about (the MLBPA license mostly just gives us stuff out of the box that the modding community does a great job with anyway, it seems to me, and historical exhibition is something I won't use) and the usual moveable feast "improved AI" stuff. But, damn... historical minors... that was something I really wasn't sure we'd ever see...

Pre-ordered

And excellent timing by Markus and the team this year.

Two days later I travel for a week with the mother-in-law as it is the Easter break, OOTP 17 will prevent me from committing first degree murder :-)

I will tuck myself away somewhere coming out only for the occasional dog walk, run, meal and coffee break :-)

Sadly I can not pre order. Otherwise I would have already done so. I do not have the use of a credit card. I buy all my games through steam using gift cards :/

Between work and kids and other adulting obligations I don't get to play OOTP often. But I'm buying it again this year, in part in case I have time (always have hope!), but also just because I love that OOTP exists and I want to support the folks who work so hard making such an amazing game. I played Microleague Baseball growing up and loved it, and want to make sure baseball sims like OOTP stay around for a very long time.
