Those look really good. I'm glad the new crowds work well in them. Those 3d crowds look a lot better now a days. I'm glad you can customize my parks for your use, it's not intentional, it's just the way I put the textures into sketchup, but I don't make it really easy to customize all the logos and ads in the model. Thanks for posting those screenshots!

Sketchup is fun when it's fun and not when it's not. In other words, if you get into a bind with some bad geometry, it can really sour a guys mood. I've viewed it as a game into itself, watched some good YT tutorials and added some extensions and that has helped my efficiency a lot. My first few stadiums aren't the best, IMHO. But I still have models that frustrate me. I have Salt River Fields at Talking Stick that I took a shot on. It's on hold right now after a couple of attempts. The winged pitched roof that angles upwards is giving me a bit of a hard time. I'll eventually get it dialed down as I get some more practice.

I can't wait to see your final product on the NCAA world you have posted about. I hope it will work on 22. I'm glad to help the cause, I appreciate you building all those NCAA models that were lacking in the game!

Good work Dutch Alexander. I do the same with my fictional league. It's set in 1905 right now so I don't want modern ads.
@Lawn Loaf, I appreciate that you use a texture folder so we can adapt these ballbarks. I've done this with a college league where there isn't a stadium made yet.

Keeping the NCAA themes going, here is Shirley Povich Field in Bethesda Maryland, home of the Georgetown Hoyas of the Big East Conference and the Bethesda Big Train of the Cal Ripken collegiate summer league. Not much to say about this field, other than that it's in a very forested park, so I made a point to capture that feel. One tidbit of trivia I did pick up while putting this together is that the park's namesake, Shirley Povich, a longtime famous Washington DC area sportswriter, is the father of none other than Maury Povich. Wow, you learn something new everyday.

They built a new ballpark, however with the lack of satellite visuals, I'm working a blend of their current park into their old park. A bit of creative liberty will be taken....here's a quick screenshot of what's in the works right now......

This is my Elliot Ballpark model, with some creative liberty taken. I couldn't find a modern satellite image of the park, being that it just opened up in the last year or so, so I went ahead and modified it a bit to fit into their old parks footprint. I also added some seating, but the aesthetics from the new park are all included. With this and mjryan65's work, all of the Big East Conference teams have a ballpark for OOTP. I hope any and all OOTP diehards get some good use out of this park!

I don't expect to have the opportunity to add crowds to my parks for quite some time. Every day I write the code for my NCAA universe, I get a better appreciation for the work that Markus and crew do. Trying to make my programs user friendly is very difficult. It will still be a while before I'm ready for Beta testing. That will be taking all my time, so the ballparks work is on hold.

I appreciate the updates to St. Johns and Tulane. I have no pride of authorship. I just want the best, most immersive parks I can get for my NCAA play. I'm thrilled anytime a new one appears, or one is updated, and I didn't have to do it. Programming is fun for me, Sketch-up is work.
