Whoever is working on the ones Cheech just posted with the black background (at first glance, I think those are all mine), let me know if you would like larger scans to work with. I typically scan at a higher resolution than what I post with my listings when selling photos. Just let me know the eBay item number so that I can easily locate the original scan.

Yes. Please. The better quality photo in, the better quality out. If I'm going to do the work, I definitely vote for spending my time on something that's going to turn out much better. Thanks.

Agreed. Like I said, if anyone is pulling images from my eBay listings, just let me know the item numbers and I will forward the appropriate scans to whoever is doing the work. They'll typically be larger than what is posted on eBay or re-posted here, sometimes much larger, so it would be best for me to e-mail them directly to ort or whoever (just need an e-mail address) rather than re-posting here.

tnfoto also has everything that I've scanned and keeps a closer watch on the boards here than I do, so he will probably catch more of the "upgradable" images than I do. Thanks tsb!

Still working on it. I'm doing the Browns now. There's about a hundred cards to do there and the Browns, with their ornate uniforms, are about the most labor intensive of all the teams. It will take a while to complete them. As for the other cards, I'm doing them, as well. It's different kinds of work do to both. The War Years stuff is coloring. The "newer" stuff (only fifty or sixty years old vs. seventy five years old) is usually a color picture that has been defaced by watermarks or big clunky sharpie autographs. So I mix and match between the two.

Anyway, I'm doing both, but the war years stuff takes a lot longer.

As far as the one-off requests, if I'm willing to put the effort in to coloring them (within reason), then it would be nice if someone on the other end would put in the effort in to make sure that I'm working on the best quality pics on my end.

It seems a little odd to me that I should be responsible for both.
