That's all the Crowns
Hopefully the friends list works a little better next week. By the way, Cary won the first game of the all OL series in silver, 3-2.
Boston is in the series in iron. I may not have time, and also might miss the various OL teams scattered throughout PT this week. So, please, if your team wins a world series, post it here so we can put up your team's hardware. I suppose there also is the possibility that there may be two OL teams matched up in world series where there weren't enough for a crown. Please let us know about any OL teams' successes. |

Annandale added Charles Nagy to their playoff rotation and he has already paid dividends, being named MVP of the Divisional series. I had the resources to complete one BAL perfect from a small handful of them, and had chosen Piazza as the one I wanted to complete. However, getting the last card proved super frustrating and when I tallied it up, I found out I could complete Nagy by spending around 65k so I did it.

I have to think the Sim gods had it out for Algoma. West Burlington is awful this season. No way on a fair sim they take 3 of 4 from a team they were FIFTY games behind!

Stone 120
The three OL teams had a very unremarkable season. Hartford and Gear Terrace return to Stone again next season. Left Coast will be relegated to Rookie. |

Nowhere Win PT Silver Series Over Cary
After falling behind, two games to none, the Nowhere Men swept the next four to complete the OL-PT parlay in silver. Congratulations!

In an off-season move to upgrade the staff for 2028, Waffletown has signed a new starting pitcher to bolster the squad:
100 - Satchel Paige (1933) Gio Gonzalez will be sent to the reserves to make room. (spent a grand total of 118K to complete the Paige mission, so about 30-40K under his current going rate) |

Read this carefully
I am assuming I am Steve Kuffrey has left OL because the - OL designation is gone. Congrats on winning the PT series in ST104, nonetheless.
Here are the promotion/relegations. Make sure to go over your friends list and make sure to submit. In fact, do it twice. R88 - Daytona Beach, Shoebox, and Sunday Driver all remain. R166 - Burnside up to stone. ST104 - Shinbone up to iron. ST110 - Gem City stays in stone. ST126 - Asheboro up to iron. ST166 - Jackson down to rookie. ST170 - Iron Maiden up to iron. I172 - Baltimore, Boston, New York, and Gettysburg all up to bronze. Route 66 down to stone. Keystone, Bluffton, and Las Vegas remain. B202 - Algoma, Annandale, and Boulder City up to silver. Inland Empire and West Burlington down to iron. Cleveland, Coney Island, Silly, South Holland, and Sugar Hill remain. S262 - Lemp Ave, Cary, HelthWyzer, and Nowhere up to gold. Otsego Lake and Port Ruppert down to bronze. Waffletown remains. G302 - Paxville and Cedar Rapids both up to diamond. Last edited by Stanley Kuppchaser; 05-16-2021 at 09:41 PM. |

HRBaker, thanks for stepping up to compute the Iron 172 OL results. That's really good of you.
Boston lost its World Series, four games to one, but we are delighted to claim our first OL crown. On to Bronze!

UGH!.. I win 104 games, make the Wildcard.. I was in first place most of the year, and STILL end up missing getting promoted from Rookie status.. Very frustrating to say the least.. Maybe this week..

After dual OL and PT crowns, Lady luck smiles on Annandale yet again. Jimmy will be joining the team in Silver.

Looks Pretty Good
We got a lot more than last week. B235 is attached. We seem to have caught them all. We should have crowns in every level except diamond, though all three OL teams are together there. Pending Jason's more accurate review, we seem to have done well, with only a couple of misses. I can handle bronze, so Edster and revmcgator get the week off. A quick check shows that all OL teams in bronze should get a decent amount of games.

Silver league: Annandale and Boulder City together in the AC West, so plenty of OL games there. Waffletown alone in the AC central but should get enough division games with Annandale/Boulder.... Algoma alone in the NC Central, hopefully they will get the AC West as their interleague opponents and get enough OL games to qualify |

Southpaws announce two signings
Well, now that the Southpaws are in Gold league, they knew they would have to "up their game". Meet their new DH, Hal McRae, and their new SP, Tim Hudson:
Unfortunately, after a week of trying, they have still been unable to sell Jackie Robinson. Until then, this might be the last of their upgrades.
