What's odd - or perhaps it's normal for OL - is that K-Town's only OL games were against Otonokizaka, so even though they were in a 6-team OL league, it wasn't really six teams, it was two teams and four teams.

We'll leave that ruling to the OL commissioners

What I can say is that the Buffalo Soldiers were headed for a clear title after taking 3 of 4 from Hartford at the beginning of September, only to drop 5 of 6 to Asheboro at the end of the month.

In PT news, the Muse, Road Dogs, Buffalo Soldiers and Sidewinders all return to Iron next year.

Hartford and K-Town are both trailing in the playoff series. Hartford is down 3-2 in the AC SubLeague, while K-Town has only won 1 of the first four in their NC SubLeague series.

Since we're at the mercy of whatever schedule OOTP gives, the only clear way to do things is by winning percentage. We've actually had at least one race that went to four decimal places. I will confess, however, that I may have jinxed Fort Huachuca. Knowing that I would be busy today, I went ahead and worked on the Buffalo Soldiers logo, to clean up my copy. There may be a possibility that I tried it with an Iron crown, just to be ready to pop it up when I found the result. Sorry. If it's any consolation, it looked great.

The Puppies came back from 3 games to none deficit to force a game seven which they unfortunately lost 11-3. They lost the first three games by one run so a lot to think about in the 14.5 hr off season.

I can't get over how lucky some of you are from getting rewarded for opening tournament packs or from opening them in general.


I am not sure if it the level that you are playing them at or what however, out of the ton of quick tournaments I won (134) with 99% of them being early on, and before someone put a curse on me, I never had good luck with the results from opening packs.



My luck has been so bad, especially as of late, that I am now staying away from tournaments that reward them, and I am just playing in quick tournaments that reward PP.


Also, for some reason, I have never been able to place in any tournament that had more than 32 teams. The majority of my success has been in 16 teams or less quick tournaments.


So forget about all of those "juicy" tournaments that offer 15 regular packs, 15,000 pp, or SE cards as a reward, as they are a total waste of time for me.

The Haymakers are going back down Bronze after suffering miserably through their worse season in the last 10 years.


Someone at OOTPD decided to put a curse on my team sometime late on Tuesday and it got so bad that I could not win a single tournament during that time frame nor could I even earn 1 challenge pack, all week long!


A "miracle" just happened to occur as soon as the regular season was over, and all the sudden I won 2-3 tournaments in a row, which was little more than a consolation prize after suffering and not being able to place in a tournament for 3-4 straight days, after joining more than 25 of them!


Things were so bad this season that going into the final 5 regular season games, Hooterville was still looking for their first Gold Achievement Reward of the season, while sporting only two Silver, with everything else being Bronze!


I have never seen so may big bats all go sour all at the same time.


When all of your big hitters drop over 100 points in their batting AVG from the previous season, you know you are in big trouble!

It's the PC version. I have no explanation. Both teams have had pack luck that helped build the roster and it seems I have gotten the shot in the arm just when I needed it. I do wish the Brett card was pulled by Coney Island instead.

Two things:

• In looking at tournaments that are in progress, I see a number of teams somehow get their #2 or #3 starter to pitch the first game of a series, with their #1 pitcher pitching game 2. How do they do this? I always thought the AI used the setting (highest rested, strict order, etc) before anything else. Is that setting only used *after* the game? Like, if I set the AI to "use highest rested" and manually select pitcher #2 as the starter, he'll pitch the next game and only after the game the AI decides who's the next pitcher?
  
  
• Also, wanted to say that since I complain a lot about bad pack luck, that Brigadoon pulled a 82 OVR Negro League card out of a Gold Challenge pack yesterday. Who sold for 24k. So that was pretty good.

I'm confused how Gold got so messed up. I checked Brigadoon and they are using friends list, and the list itself has everyone in it (except a few teams in Iron). So.... it's a mystery to me.

Had appointment, so my first chance to check in. Since I'm still having to use my laptop, my friends list gets chopped off at the bottom. As far as I can see the gold teams were all in 301. Didn't work out that way? By the way, with half the teams in S276, I'll do the standings. A quick perusal of the schedules, now that the first game has been played shows that all six teams will have enough OL games. Glad to see I don't have to change the crowns. I'd not like to be the person to try and take something off that Rockpile guy's head.
