I don't know if I can do another 18-inning game . . . Heck, who am I kidding? I'm not going anywhere until this is over.

Fine, don't sacrifice your head to get your team a world series win.

And not just on the bases, but the close calls in the outfield!

I tell you one thing: However we feel about the playoffs, they certainly got the right AL team here to face the Lodgers.

&*%^(! I bet MLB is happy tonight.

I'll tell you, though. What a great game 7 and what a very good World Series.

Now here is a legitimate Hall of Famer:

Clayton Kershaw goes out on top with third Dodgers World Series title: 'How can I script it any better?'

Kershaw retires with three World Series rings on top of his individual accomplishments

Quote:
He won three Cy Youngs and an MVP. He made the All-Star team 11 times. He won five ERA titles. His numbers are staggering. He went 223-96 (his .699 winning percentage is the best ever in MLB post-integration) with a 2.53 ERA, 1.02 WHIP, 3,052 strikeouts against fewer than 700 unintentional walks in 2,855 ⅓ innings.
This is one highlight in an otherwise dismal finale for non-Lodger fans. (And yes, the Lodgers are now firmly lodged in the penthouse of Baseball.)

Even so, he needs to put on a shirt when posing with the likes of Ohtani.

Maybe the MLB needs to lower the luxury tax.
