Actually ... the Upstate of New York area has been known as an Empire State ... it's a way for making the team more closely to "home" ... as I'm originally from Upstate - the snowbelt region of good ol' USA - Oswego county ... Brrrrr ... glad I'm down where it's drier and warmer to see the Albuquerque Isotopes plays ...
