Duh!!!! They do look exactly like yours, so I assume these are correct. I think I had a total mis-understanding of what your face_gen pack was going to show.............I thought it would be a replica of a baseball card photo. Sorry, lack of experience with the game and my expectations.

I feel awful! I just ruined your Sunday, but got a nice tutorial, since I'm just a couple of days into this game. I'm an old APBA guy.


And yes, they look very much like the players....Fried, Grisham, Judge, Cole, Cruz....the entire team! Not sure how the hell you replicate like that.

It's all good. I started making facegens for myself and the former keeper of the pack handed me the reigns a few years ago. So myself and others have continued to improve it. If you do want photos, those exist too. If you want to convert baseball card images to be the image, that is possible too. Just have to use the photo set-up and save the name of the card in the proper format (as if it were a photo) so it auto-loads. The game is nothing if not customizable!

You're a good man, LansdowneSt ! I have a lot to learn with this comprehensive game. OOTP make APBA look like a rinky-dink game.

Is anyone else having issues with this Facegen pack (which by the way is my favorite mod for anything ever, so thank you!) being pretty blurry on MacBook Pro? My logos are also a little blurry but the facegens don't zoom in or out regardless of whatever setting I toggle.

Last year in OOTP26 I used this same mod from the workshop (I presume it's the same one?) and it was crisp and clear so maybe this will get ironed out by the Dev team as I've heard Macs can have some weird fuzziness at launch? Last year was my first OOTP and I don't think I got it until a month or two post-launch.

But don't have a Mac though some have replied there that they are seeing it too. On the Settings button on the Main page, there is a section for facegens. I usually have both mine on medium but I think the game ships with one already in more detail. Sounds like you found that part of the settings - but odd it will not zoom in or out for you. Those are really the only place settings exist. I will add this to the tracking system on the other side of beta wall so your report is on the internal tracker.

But it's something they need to address. It's not the pack or files.

Glad to see the Facegens have been updated!
But why is it still 2.0 and not, like, 2.1 or even 2.0.1? That's not how I've been led to believe version numbers work!


(Also, really appreciate you working with that other user who was having trouble with getting their facegens to work, as I'd also been having trouble figuring out where things go in this version. Or maybe it's in the non-Steam version, I've never had the non-Steam version of OOTP before.)

I have Mac and have noticed fuzzy facegens too. It's definitely not anything to do with this pack. It's affected ones I've made too.

First is the same facegen on 26, second is 27.

It was a Mac issue two or three years ago, it was fixed but came back this year... I suppose they working on fixing it, at least I hope for the Mac users because seeing our works blurry isn't that fun.

It’s adding to my eye strain too for me it’s the font and ratings bars and everything. See my screenshots it’s WEIRD. Even in non-OOTP menus the fonts are fuzzier on my Mac whenever OOTP is open. It’s so bizarre and I can’t play the game longer than 10-15 mins haha because it’s hard on my eyes

Yes. Everything is slightly off. It’s readable but I can’t play for longer than a few minutes without my brain hurting haha. The ratings bars, numbers, logos, faces, everything is a bit fuzzy. I posted screenshots in another thread that even my Mac’s menus are fuzzier when OOTP is open which is truly bizarre.

Frustrated and hoping for a fix. Glad it’s not just me!
