Oversight and no, just Japan. I'm going to turn it on for Cuba as well though, to simulate defections.

I googled it just to make sure I was remembering properly.

I think it came about after the Orioles' aborted attempt to sign Seong-min Kim - anyway, it was agreed in 2012, so it's very recent. If you google some variety of keywords including 'KBO', 'posting', '2012' and 'MLB' or something similar, I'm sure you'll find details pretty easily if you're interested.

San Diego signed Jedd Gyorko to a long term deal as well.

Also, not sure why, but the computer AI is insistent on putting Cashner at second in the pitching order, behind Ian Kennedy...

After opening day though, so it won't be added to the game for now since the rosters are frozen at opening day.

They signed him after Opening Day and as for the rotation spot, might want to take a look at the first post...

"Please do not post issues with players being on wrong roster / lineup / pitching staff spots, the AI sets these up and there is nothing we can do to force player X to be used in a certain predefined way."

Those are just the draft guys I told you about. I nuked them, no need to worry about them or for anyone to post their names, etc.

Speaking of Posting, has anyone enabled MLB posting and noticed anything weird yet? I'm up to July 1st and am deciding if allowing MLB teams to post will make things weird?

Any chance of getting Carlos Santana's "C" defensive rating set above "1"? I mean, he's not a great defensive catcher, but I'd like the AI to actually play him behind the plate from time to time without my prompting.

Just to let everyone know about minor leagues.

I had noticed that a lot of teams have switched players positions around this year causing a lot of the minor league teams to be out of whack. I have been going through teams since Friday fixing these issues. A lot of pitching staffs off since SP have become relievers and vice versa. The main issue I am fixing is if a player is more than one level above where he should be. a lot has changed since the initial launch and I have gotten some teams systems looking a lot better. By patch 2, all teams should be fixed.

Sanatana is a problem for us. If we give him a catcher rating, the game won't start him at 3B or carry a third catcher for Cleveland.

In the end we decided that the best solution was to eliminate his C rating.

Colby Rasmus is a Free Agent following the 2014 season in real life, game has him with 1 more year of arbitration eligibility.

Sergio Santos in real life has 2015, 2016 and 2017 as team options, in game only 2016 and 2017 are options

Garrett Richards is down as having velo of 92-94. His minimum fastball speed has been 94.3 and has touched 97.8 - averaging 96.
