Not sure if this counts for this thread, and I'd be shocked if it hasn't been mentioned before, but:

When playing out a game, if you are prompted whether to send a runner ("Smith is a fantastic runner, but Wilson has a cannon for an arm."), then if you send the player, the animation does not play all the time.

Play continues normally, you just don't get to see the animation, so you kind of have to look at the scoreboard to see if your runner scored or got thrown out. Too bad, because it's one of the more exciting plays.

It doesn't show if you replay the pbp either.

There are lots of variations on this one, but occasionally on a deep drive to the outfielder, the outfielder runs backwards before letting the ball drop in front of him, where it looks visually like he could have easily had the ball if he just ran towards it.

battists Hall Of Famer Join Date: Jul 2004 Posts: 18,506	Not sure if this counts for this thread, and I'd be shocked if it hasn't been mentioned before, but: When playing out a game, if you are prompted whether to send a runner ("Smith is a fantastic runner, but Wilson has a cannon for an arm."), then if you send the player, the animation does not play all the time. Play continues normally, you just don't get to see the animation, so you kind of have to look at the scoreboard to see if your runner scored or got thrown out.
