A the moment the team is 3-1 after these changes.

yes, historic versions of current players can be used

Haven't had time to work on refining rosters, but have only managed a half-dozen packs so far, with no success at all in bronze. May just stick to iron until the weekend, when I'll have time to take a bit of a closer look. I have won a couple of PD tournaments, but there never seem to be any tournaments starting. Did I miss something about when them being available only at certain times. If so, when is that time.

By the way, the Mundys are in 35th place, at 30-32. The Atom Smashers are having a rough go, stuck in last at 19-43.

that is strange. I never have trouble with PD tourney's starting. They fill pretty fast, in my experience. Between my three teams, I bet I entered at least 3 each while watching the basketball last night.

I've found I have to hit the 'reset filter' button at the top on the PD tourney list to get anything to show... after the list finally shows, they usually fill/start pretty quick

I have enough to play Iron however, my team is currently very weak.


Not enough players for me to field a Bronze however, whenever I do, it will start out very weak, too.


Still having lousy luck on PD for the 3rd day in a row.



The only positive the Kops have is that from a pack-only team in Entry Pool, they are currently sporting a 40-25 record.


The bad side of this is that I need to replace at least 14-15 starting live cards!

sometimes ya just gotta toss a tourney team together and see if they can do something.... I think my "silver" team has 4 silver cards on it the rest are bronze and iron.... but they managed to win a 32 team tourney, so I keep trotting them out in all three slots...

upgraded a few players on that tourney roster from last night's pack pulls, but still nothing huge from the packs, but it's early

Haven't tried anything about Bronze yet.



Hoping to get something good and usable from the next set of Drop Packs that will help with the tournaments, too.

After your suggestion, I joined my first Gold tournament of PT22 and I won! It was only a 8 team tourney, but it goes to backup your statement that you don't know unless you try.


The surprise of it all is that I only own 5 Gold cards!

I had been a Met fan from '62 and, therefore, hated the Yankees, so it was nice to have an American League team to take into my heart. Welcome aboard. Please post your team logo (as well as anybody else who hasn't).


Decided to put my live golds and one diamond up for auction and go with an OL compliant team now since they weren't earning anything. the depth chart is attached. A bit thin in the outfield. Wish Mack was his brother Zack.


Also figured out that I have exit OOTP and restart the game to reset perfect draft if I have done any regular tournaments. Logging out and in again doesn't do the trick. Ah, well.

Baltimore and Silly Mad continue to lead OL R142, with the Hot Rods closing in. Those three teams are also in a playoff spot.

Shoebox Legends are the first OL team to reach the 20-win plateau.

Four OL teams are in the top 11 in the league power rankings. On the other end, 5 OL teams are in last place in their division. Lucky for them, there is no relegation from Rookie.

Ostego is on top, but may not have enough OL games to qualify for the inaugural OL S156 trophy.

Ostego and Hartford are both on track to be promoted, while South Holland is on track to be relegated.

Thanks! Nope, I have not bought any PP with this team -- or any other team. I've always been free to play. In fact I have a second team that's floundering and whose best player is non-Live, and I'm thinking of adding it to the OL as well, if multiple teams are acceptable. But I'm busy enough setting up this one OL team for now.

@Stanley Kuppchaser - Thanks for that warm welcome! My first memory of MLB is my dad taking me to Fenway for my birthday in the mid-1960s. My only specific recollection of that day was how impossibly green and huge the ballfield seemed. In my experience, baseball was played on dusty Little League diamonds, not huge expanses of green grass! Heh, so I thought little Fenway Park was huge.

My second memory is from a later game, maybe late 60s or early 70s, in which Yaz was booed for not running out a groundball. I guess he had a surly period at some point. I remember my dad explaining it to me gently. There are probably relatively few people now who can remember seeing Yaz booed at Fenway Park.

But I digress. Here's my logo. I'm just using the Red Sox 1961-69 logos from OOTP. The game reports two logos; I guess I prefer the big white one for my logo if we're only using one here.
