Hi Lukas, love the game. I noticed a potential issue just now. When I start a 'New Standard Game' with LIVE START, Start Date: March 27th. I notice that Gerrit Cole is signed to the Mets. I've just tried a fresh start and gotten the same issue. For context, I'm running the game on Mac (Steam) and have the current patch 26.1.45.

If you choose Live Start, and include the MLB Partner leagues, many injured players (including Gerrit Cole) get dumped in their rosters where you can purchase them for $250k. Not bad for Cole or Francisco Alvarez.

There may be some issues with the data feed we're getting, we can take a look at this and fix things up.

I've started 2 different live start games so far and have seen similar issues in both.

One game I started on March 27th, had Gerrit Cole, DJ LeMahieu, Giancarlo Stanton on the Mets.

Another game I started on March 31st, had Mike Tauchman on the Cubs when he should be on the White Sox. I checked and this game also had Giancarlo Stanton on the Mets.

Seems to happen to players on the IL at the time and I've only seen players switch between teams in cities with more than one team, every time going from the AL team to the NL team. There is nothing in the transactions indicating that these players were ever cut or traded.

Thanks Lukas. I've looked through all the Live start dates and it looks like everything is fine up to the March 22nd Live start date, however from March 23rd onwards alot of the injured players mentioned above are moved to incorrect teams.


I hope that helps, and look forward to it getting resolved as I'm very keen to start a new game with a Live start in early April after some of these crazy opening week games we've been seeing!

did a live start this morning, and all of the above issues in regards to them being on incorrect rosters appear to be fixed.

Only thing I had to manually add was the Profar suspension.

Also on the live start with today's date, all injured players have been dfa'd

And then an error comes up with an error stating that the International League is still in off-season mode, and you are unable to advance the day.

It has games scheduled at 12am ET and 1am ET.

Not great.

Are you sure you haven't run a day or two? As far as I can see Lara has always been assigned to the Nats minors.

There were one or two build with some guys being on wrong teams, but he wasn't one as far as I can see.

At any rate, this should all be correct in 49.

Fixed this now, he will show up next patch (not today's public beta).

The Jurickson Profar suspension could be added, but understand if not since it was not executed until 3-31. Same with several other small moves and trades (Fairchild/ATL, Canario/PIT, Eder/CWS, etc.)

Yes, all of the above are in the set in the current public beta build (and earlier builds, though not including Profar and other post OD stuff). You need to update to the current build and start a new game to see this though, it will not retroactively update already created saves.

Couple of small contract issues I noticed. The extensions for Garrett Crochet and Jackson Merrill begin in 2026, but the game has them beginning in the 2025 season, so they are both set to be free agents 1 year before they will be in real life.

I’m not sure how you can do it, but it feels like Chandler Simpson’s speed and aggressiveness on the bases is rated too low in-game. He’s putting up video game numbers in real life, but in a video game (this one) it doesn’t seem to match up.

He's basically close to maxed out now, so it's kind of just a case where he's breaking the ratings scale.
