CD, the honest truth is, I did not read your long, long posts and private messages about the Freemans... I just glanced at them and saw they were too long and too detailed... nobody will read all that your write... you should be more brief and people may pay more attention to your requests.

Have you never noticed that people that just post a simple request get them filled much of the time.
Need logo, jersey and cap home and away set. for the Podunk Pirates.. make them Black and Gold.
That is how to write a simple request.

While your long, rambling and complex requests are rarely ever done.

And no, I did not change the Freemans' ages or make one of them a switch hitter... but I did go back and make him right-handed and a two-way player to make you happy... these revisions have taken several hours of my time... not going to spend any more time on the Freemans... they have been created and put on the Hillsboro Blazers and will just play out whatever career the AI gives them.
Changes in ages after the player begins play in a league changes his years of service and makes his history incorrect... that's why I don't do that age change.

I have done all on the Freemans I am going to do.
I told you in the beginning I would quickly create them and put them in my IPA just as average players... I have done that.

I'm tired of talking about the Freemans... they are taking too much of my time... I have far more important things to do... like sim a new IPA season so I can reach a 100 seasons... and continue to play and recap my South Island Supreme League and South Island Secondary League.

And even these leagues are not really that important... they are just hobbies and a way to past the time in old, old, old age.

Come to think of it... helping you deal with your problems may be one of the most important thing in my life... God has brought us together here on the OOTP Forum for some reason... God works in mysterious ways... I feel that God wants me to try and help CD be able to socialize here on the OOTP Forums and make his life a little bit better... you are making progress and are much better that two years ago... but you need to learn from your experiences and not repeat past mistakes.

God is working on EC, too... He is teaching me to understand someone different from me and my ways and teaching me to be patient in dealing with these people.
Not just on OOTP, but in real life, too.

I imagined him as a switch-hitter so that he would hopefully be able to play more, and hopefully have more potential success in his IPA careers, but if EC wishes for him to only bat righthanded, and not from both sides of the plate, then I'll accept that, in any case. I suppose at least some of my frustration with not being able to write more to several of my writing projects is seeping into things here, if not a lot of it. I've been trying for quite a while to make some real progress with at least one or two of them, but have been unable to do so for some yet-unknown reason or reasons of late. I'm sorry that it's likely causing me to be more picky than usual and all of late, in truth, EC and jg2977.

I've been trying to relax and stay calm, but it's often quite hard when you can't do what you want or need to do at times, in relation to certain things, in one's life. Isn't that right, you two? I believe it is. I know the stories will come when they come, but it is still rather frustrating at times, when they're not coming to me as they likely need to come to me, or when they need to come to me, I'm sure.

I'll be thirty years out of high school in early June 2022, and I really want to have the final draft of Lighting Up the Darkness done by then. However, I have a looming December 1st deadline planned for the first draft of that original story that I'd really like to meet. And it looks very likely, and more likely by the day, that I won't actually meet that deadline in time somehow. At the rate things seem to be going for it, I'll probably be rather fortunate to even get it done by Christmas, if even that early. I was hoping to do at least four or five drafts of the entire written story by June, but at the rate things seem to be going for it, I'll probably only be able to get two or three, I think.

Please pray that I'm able to pick up more speed and all with it very soon, seeing as there are likely at least ten or so more chapters' worth of text yet to write for it here, you two, if you like and can, Lord willing and all. Thank you. CD out.

CD, the Freemans are on the same team, the Hillsboro Blazers... one is a second baseman and the other is a centerfielder... and maybe he will pitch, too...we'll just have to see how the AI uses him... I gave him the pitching ratings of one of my favorite Mobile Bears in 1957 - Gary Bell (10-7 with a 3.29 ERA)... made the Southern Association All-Stars and was promoted to the San Diego Padres in the Pacific Coast League... Gary went 6-2 there with a brilliant 1.56 ERA... went to Cleveland in 1958... Bell had a pretty good career with the Cleveland Indians and the Boston Red Sox in the late 50s and the 60s (1958-1969)... he won over 100 games and had an ERA around 4.00... Bell finished up 121-117 with a 3.68 ERA... he was a 4-time All-Star.

He was a great guy... I was a ballboy down in the right field bullpen... used to play pepper with Gary most days at Hartwell Field, home of the Bears... we had a running bet... I would buy him 10 cokes for every base hit... he would buy me a coke for every time he got out... that was a sucker bet... Bell was a fairly good hitter... he got 10 hits that season and hit .204... he only made 39 outs... EC bought Gary "Ding-Dong" Bell a lot of ice-cold cokes that wonderful season... Coca-Cola was just 6 cents at that time... I think the Bears finished third that season in the Southern Association... my favorite minor league of all-time.

Actually, for future reference, EC, if you are in Commissioner Mode, and in the editor for a player's profile, you can change the amount of service time they have, it seems. That can work for ANY player, if I remember correctly. You can even edit their history notes, if you know how to do it well enough, among other things you can do when it comes to players and their profiles. Just so you know. CD out.

Not necessary, CD... please don't post anything more... I know how to make many changes in a player's profile... did not know you could change service time... I can do that now.... but will still leave the Freemans birthdays the same... I do not plan to alter their profile any more.

The Freemans are on the Hillsboro Blazers until the AI does something else with them.

Whether or not you do, however, don't worry about me potentially complaining about how you have them any longer. I'll just sit back and watch their careers play out as best as I can and all. They will also play in my Good Times League, by the way, starting on the Misfits, FYI.

I still have to create the relevant national, state, and town and city histories, and try and do caps and uniforms for the teams listed above that need them, if I can and all. I'd expect this fictional nation would perhaps be about the size of Texas, Missouri, Minnesota, and the U.S. state of Georgia combined, more or less, too.

Someone will likely have to create more detailed maps related to Prokiru than I can, and/or other nation-related graphics, whether here or elsewhere, I think. I'm not much of a visual artist compared to others here, for sure, though. I'm decent enough, at best, most times, but my artistic skillsets are not as good as many others, either here or elsewhere, no doubt.

I should have a list of teams I need help on for this new league soon, I think, if not today. Just so you know, EC. CD out.

You made a simple direct request and did not make it complicated.

You may have a chance at someone doing them.

But don't feel bad if no one does them... not a lot of personal requests get done on the OOTP Mods Forum anymore.

CD, I can do you a basic logo... it's better than nothing... but you don't like mine... I am only borderline average... nowhere near most of the good graphics designers.

Let's wait a week or so and see if anyone helps you out.

I've already got too many other things yet to do at the present time to bump it here, after all, I believe. Eespecially with December coming ever closer by the day, and June after that, you know. It's been posted, so now I have to wait and see what our Lord and Master does next, whether it's to inspire others to help out or not, for sure, with the matter just posted.

I don't know if I'll be able to recover Freeman Dynasty 001 well enough just yet, for instance, but I'll try to remember to try and submit a related support ticket to it. If I can remember how to do that well enough here, of course, that is. It's probably been some time since I may have last done so, after all.

I wonder how fun this Good Times League will be to play, ultimately, for as long as I pay it, too. Hopefully I'll be able to tell at least halfway decent stories about teams in Prokiru soon, as well. I don't think the game crash affected any of my other OOTP 21 dynasties, at least, as of yet, but I hope they didn't, you know.

As you can see, the basic map for the Prokiruan Republic is quite rudimentary at present, at least. And it's quite unlike your Islandian map, too. A lot of space is left still to be filled in for it, as well, but I suspect that won't always be the case, once it gets worked with a bit more, or made in another way, by me or someone else. Maybe someone like sizeman21 can help out in that regard, at least a little, in time? Guess we'll just have to wait and see if he and/or anyone else does help me with the related map or maps for Prokiru, won't we?

CD, no one creates maps on the OOTP Forums very often... I got lucky when Sizeman21 did a beautiful one for the North Island League... but he doesn't seem to be very active on the Mods Forum anymore.

No one is going to do a map for you... you want too many towns on them... no one is going to do one of your leagues where you have a large major league and large minor leagues, too.... no one is going to do a map with 100 or more towns.

If you could decide to play just one league with 16-20 teams and no minor leagues... that's how I play the IPA and my other leagues... no minor leagues... I just use a reserve roster for each team to replace players.

Pick 16-20 of your favorite teams for which you already have logos, jerseys and caps... then create one league using them. focus completely on this one league.

Post those towns in a thread and see if someone will create a map for you.

But make the request simple... tell them to place the teams wherever they like... you might suggest the towns you want on the coast... the towns in the mountains... towns in the desert...towns near a lake... or towns on rivers.

If no one helps you, I could do you a map... my South Island League map came out pretty well... even Sizeman21 liked it.

Keep in mind, if I do a map for you, you are not going to micro-manage it to the smallest details... just give me the names of the towns and turn me loose and don't bother me... I will not make a lot of revisions for you.

And I will only make a map if you just play ONE LEAGUE and put your total focus and attention on that one league.

I'll try to focus on one league at a time, EC. But as you know, it is often hard for me to focus on certain things at times in my life, when I should focus on them, and vice versa, unfortunately. Especially seeing as I often find myself thinking about many different things at the same time, somehow, and not just one or two. That's how my mind often works, you see.

I'm not quite sure how I can best describe it here in a way that most people might actually be able to understand at least a little bit better, in truth, but I'm still going to try, nevertheless. It's like there's so much out there in God's Universe that is so amazing, it can't help but gain my interest to at least some degree, if not to a great degree. That's at least every so often, if not much or most of the time, during my waking hours at least, anyway. Or at least that's how it seems to me periodically, anyway.

Of course, not everything in this Universe is good, and not everything in this world is either. But there sure are a lot of wonderful things and a lot of wonderful people still present in those places, I'm quite certain, even if we don't know those things or people for ourselves personally in our respective lives.

I really don't know just what it's going to take for me to be able to write considerably more to certain stories of mine easily enough in the near future. But I do know that, right now, I'm at least a bit frustrated that I can't seem to actually make some real progress of late with at least one or two of them, for sure. If not considerably so, honestly.

And add to that, certain concerns related to my family members and other things or people I either know or know of in my life, of course. Things are getting worse by the day in the real world, and they're going to continue doing so, most definitely.

But we were all told long ago what these times would be like, at least in a general sense, you know. He wasn't entirely specific about certain things that would take place when His return was near, nor were His prophets throughout the ages, but we were still told certain signs to look for before His eventual return to Earth. I watch for those signs as best as I can, whenever I can, and I know one day, we will meet Him face-to-face, no matter what our standing is ultimately with HIm in His eyes. I am quite concerned, of course, about what may happen to me or those around me, like my parents, for instance, but what will happen will happen, one way or another, for sure.

My parents are in their seventies now, so no doubt they've lived more than half of their respective mortal lives on this planet, if not at least 75% of them by now. I don't expect that they'll both live to at least 85, at the current time, but I do hope they do, Lord willing, of course. Dad will be 78 later this month, and Mom will be 75 in about two months from now. I will be 49, Lord willing, in mid-February, as well, and 50 in 2023, if I last that long, in truth.

Yes, God certainly brought us both together on these forums for some reason or reasons we each may not yet know fully, but I'm so glad He did, to be completely honest with you here. I hope we're each iron to each other, sharpening each other, where and when needed and all, so that we can both better bring glory to our Maker, for sure. I just finished the 2071 IPA season.

CD, here is how the Freeman Brothers did this year in the IPA... the Blazers had a good season going 85-69 winding up in third place, 12 games behind pennant-winning Tuckanarra.

Arthyr Freeman had a fine rookie year with a .264 BA in 147 games with 140 hits, 22 doubles, 8 triples, 15 homers, 67 RBIs, 59 runs, 37 BBs and 6 SBs... his OBP was only .312.

Arthyr is just a fair fielder... played 80 games at second base with a .969 FA and 67 games at shortstop with a .945 FA... he usually batted second in the lineup... the scouting report said he is a fine defender with very good speed... Arthyr Freeman has good potential and a very promising future... he showed some power.

Not a lot of good news about Gordon Freeman... he only got limited action... 16 games in center field and 4 games at first base... Gordon plays very good defense at both positions... he was injured at midseason and then got demoted to the reserve roster as a pitcher... Gordon batted .233 with 20 hits in 86 at bats with 4 doubles, 3 triples and 4 homers... he batted in 12 runs and scored 10 times... walked 15 times with a .353 OBP and 2 stolen bases... the scouts forecast Gordon Freeman as a fair #4 or #5 starter at best... he had a knee injury June 28... went on the DL for 6 weeks and them was demoted.
