With Late Win, Silly Grabs Top Spot in OL S291
The Mad Brewers topped Port Ruppert in the last gave on the schedule and it was enough to give them bragging rights in a slow opening month. Cleveland, still on the sidelines, will play a fair amount of OL games, just not yet. No OL teams are in the relegation zone.

Slow month in Stone has LabRats a nose in front
Only 2 series between OL teams in Stone, in April, both involving the LabRats.

Not a lot of OL action yet, just enough for Paxville to match their average in the league. I'll do a table later in the week, unless anyone else wants to have a pop. Could be good practice for next week, as I don't think Paxville will be around in Diamond...
Very nice starts from Lemp Avenue and Nowhere. Hope they can keep it up! I'm pretty envious of their rosters . I forgot to change my park factors, and that's going to bite me hard this week!Cedar Rapids 0-1 Lemp Av. 3-0 Nowhere 0-0 Paxville 1-3 Texarcana 0-0

Gold 313
The OL teams have gotten off to a pretty good start in Gold although there has only been 5 OL games.
The Cary Southpaws have been bludgeoning opponents in the league. They have 55 HRs led by Josh Gibson and Oscar Charleston and the team is slugging .555! The Annandale Atom Smashers are off to a great start as well led by a team ERA of 2.61 and a BABIP against of only .286. The Crakes are currently in a solid wildcard spot while the Syrups had a slow start but have been winning lately. Last edited by Quinta; 05-25-2021 at 10:09 AM. |

So, thanks, late is better than never. That said, those who are in the leagues I help report on probably have noticed that my reports tend to be a little later than the rest, sometimes even into the afternoon or evening. Just the nature of my schedule. Also, Sundays' final reports are always either way early or way late (the first 3 letters of my username are a clue as to why )

Gear Terrace gets off to the early lead in OL R56. Early results indicate that most OL might advance this season.

going for it, the Nowhere Men have added Charles Nagy to their rotation. Surprised to find the team in first, they sold a few diamonds & golds they were planning on holding until Monday (#@%$!) to complete the BAL. It might have been wiser to hold for a bit, but sometimes you just gotta say wtf (a diamond playoff appearance would be a first for me).
Also pulled a Walter Johnson & was tempted to sell, but might just hold for a bit to see if I can come close to the Wainwright mission.

Hi everyone! My two teams, Cheese Trucks and Adidas Nylon Pants, both got promoted from Bronze to Silver and apparently they were placed in a league with some OL teams!
![]() My teams are completely FTP, in case y'all were wondering. I've had some insanely good pack luck lately which has allowed to acquire some really good players. Good luck to all this season! We may face off in the playoffs..... |

Bronze
Bluffton moves into first place after a light day of OL play.
Asheboro leads their division and Baltimore holds down a wildcard. Gettysburg and Otsego Lake are in the relegation zone |

Cleveland Takes Command of OL S291
The Commodores finally left the dock, sailing to a three game sweep and the top of the standings. Still no OL teams in relegation zone.

Tight race in Stone
10 OL games this month including several intraconference series. LabRats hold a small lead, while West Burlington still awaits their first OL game.
LabRats and Tortugas currently hold AC Wildcard spots, while both are in the hunt for Division titles. Farmhands are threating for the division in the NC as well.

The OL race will be not be too interesting this season as the Annandale Atom Smashers have dominated the start and are unlikely to look back. The Cary Southpaws could give them a pennant chase but they have finished their OL schedule for the year early and will not be able to be crowned champion.
OL teams continue to perform well in Gold 313. The Cary Southpaws cooled down their team HR pace but are still averaging over 1.5 per game and continue in their division's 1st place. The Annandale Atom Smashers have a top pitching staff as well as their own power driven offense as they are also in first place. Both the Waffletown Syrups and Helthwyzer Crakes are in the wildcard hunt. |

Most significant movement came from the Sunday Drivers, who rose above .500 and into second place.
The remainder of the Gear Terrace OL schedule takes place in the last month. Overall, there will not be many OL games played, increasing the importance of each one, which makes the 3-game Drivers/Warriors series in September very interesting. The Drivers only other OL game remaining is their first game today against Burnside. Meanwhile, Shoebox and Hartford have 13 games remaining against each other. Strong domination by either team would springboard them to the title. And Burnside, seemingly rudderless and bound to Rookie in perpetuity, could provide enough victories to other teams to fuel a title run. |
