Bluffton dropped 2 of its 3 OL games yesterday but still holds the lead. Baltimore won 8 of its 13 to narrow the gap.
In PT play we still see Asheboro leading its division with Baltimore holding the second wildcard in the AC. Bluffton made up some ground in the same race and trail Baltimore by 2 games. Gettysburg is the lone team in the relegation zone. Otsego Lake has made up a lot of ground after a 5-21 start in April to fight their way above the line. |

Bosox Take over in OL S291
Boston and Cleveland in a two-team race so far, but the schedule is early and compact enough that another team could quickly inject itself into the mix. Still no relegation danger.

LabRats stretch lead in Stone 192, Thunder suffer
The Las Vegas Thunder had an active month in June, but not a productive one. The OL schedule included 3 series, all involving the Thunder. They were swept twice by the LabRats and lost a series to Iron Maiden 2-1.
Those sweeps allowed the LabRats to stretch their OL lead. Overall, the LabRats have a 6 game cushion at the top of the AC Central division, Daytona Beach is in reach of a division or wild card playoff position. In the NC, West Burlington is in a wild card spot and 2 1/2 out of the division lead. West Burlington will only have 7 OL games, all against Iron Maiden, so will not qualify for the OL crown, if I remember the rules correctly.

I currently cannot connect to Perfect Team and do not currently have time to investigate. So I cannot update the standings (I will try a bit later). However, there were no OL league games played yesterday so the OL standings remain:

Depressing League Lethargy
Can't login atm, but checked the Diamond OL standings this morning:
Texarcana 5-2 Cedar Rapids 8-5 Lemp Av. 7-6 Nowhere 0-0 (It's a real shame that they'll only have 6 OL games) Paxville 6-13 (I refuse to place Paxville above Nowhere) I've spent almost no time on the Kings this week. Pulled a 100k RP last night, and made a few adjustments. Woke this morning to see an 8+ era for my new pitcher, and most of my losses were by just 1 run. Woot. Meanwhile, I bashed out the live missions in 2 days with my new team. Now, despite leading the entry league, I'm seeing some crazy rubber-banding between hugely mismatched teams. Haven't even had a gold achievement yet. I'm not going to drop them into Rookie OL because it would be unfair on the other teams. I'll see when I think is a good time to join, but maybe Bronze? Charlatan said it's ok to sell the AL/NL/overall topper cards from the live missions. Is that concrete?

Cary and Annandale cruising along atop their divisions. Helthwyzer a game and a half back of the wild card spot... and Waffletown continues to sink further back, just 5 games above the relegation line. I'll be out starting tomorrow and most of next week.... good luck in the post season for any OL clubs who get there. |

if you've been holding duplicates not yet in missions, check your cards and sell some of 'em off if they're in the new ones....
already made 20K selling off 10 random bronze/iron cards

Dunce Lingers in Last
Bit of change in Diamond:
Nowhere 2-0 (only gonna play 6 games) Cedar Rapids 13-7 Lemp Av. 8-8 Texarcana 7-8 Paxville 8-15 (can't complain about not having enough games this week!) The bad news for everyone else is that Cedar Rapids have 6 more games against Paxville. Although, they've actually failed to beat up on me like the others have... so far! Every time I look at the standings, Nowhere seem to have either won 5/6 games, or lost 5/6 games! But a special mention for being able to live with the NC teams .I'm very much looking forward to this week being over. There were a few not so good teams last week, but the Kings are well and truly bottom of the pile this week .

Our former leader Bluffton stumbled with a 3-7 record in OL play falling to third place. Asheboro, thanks to a four game sweep of the Boomerangs moved into second. Baltimore who won 2 of 3 yesterday is now our leader.
Only 23 OL games remaining: Asheboro: (7) 3 @ Bluffton, 4 vs. Otsego Lake Baltimore: (4) @ Bluffton Bluffton: (16) 9 vs. Sugar Hill (6 H 3 A), 4 vs. Baltimore, 3 vs. Asheboro Gettysburg: (3) vs.Sugar Hill Otsego Lake: (4) @ Asheboro Sugar Hill: (12) 9 vs Bluffton (3 H 6 A), 3 @ Gettysburg In PT play not many changes. Asheboro opened a slightly bigger division lead as did Baltimore in the race for the second WC. After fighting their way out of relegation Otsego Lake finds themselves back in the drop zone along with Gettysburg. |

Boston Still Holds Onto OL S291 Lead
The Red Sox muddled through the month at 4-4, while Algoma put on a 10-3 charge to take over second place and apply some pressure. Still no team in relegation zone.

No change in Stone standings
No OL games this month, so LabRats continue to lead.
Overall, Labrats lead the AC Central by 15 games; Daytona Beach is starting to lose contact with the leaders in the AC West, but continue to fight for a playoff spot. In the NC East, West Burlington remains in the fight for both the division and a wild card spot. I will be away from the computer tomorrow until late in the evening, so there will be no post tomorrow and I will post final results on Sunday morning.

Gold 313
Only 2 OL games yesterday as Annandale continued their domination over Helthwyzer. While not quite mathematically clinched you should be able to give Annandale their OL Gold title soon.
In Gold 313 action both Annandale Atom Smashers and Cary Southpaws continue to dominate their divisions and head for promotion to the heady heights of Diamond League. Cary remains as the most powerful lineup and leading the league in HRs, slugging and OPS. Annandale is nearly as powerful (second in all the above categories). Both have top 5 pitching staffs as well. No team is currently in relegation territory. |

As predicted Annandale Atom Smashers have clinched their OL Gold title (Southpaws cannot meet the minimum number of games). Congratulations!

Sugar Hill and Bluffton met 6 times yesterday with the Boomerangs taking four in the only OL action.
Baltimore remains the leader as we prepare to hit the last month of the season. The Barons play their last four games to start the day when they visit third place Bluffton. With Sugar Hill, Otsego Lake and Gettysburg (due to >then 10 games) out of contention for the crown it is a three team race. Outside of the Boomerangs important 4 games to start the day vs. the Barons, they have 3 vs. Asheboro and close their schedule when they visit Sugar Hill. Asheboro have the 3 at Bluffton and host Otsego Lake for 4 games. The games vs the Monsters are the last four OL games on the schedule and could decide the title. In PT Play Asheboro has opened an 11 game division lead. Baltimore is still holding the second WC spot with Bluffton who went 17-9 in August just two games back. With two teams facing each other to start play today we have a four game series that will have both OL and PT meaning. Otsego Lake and Gettysburg are in danger of relegation. |

Algoma Still Leads in OL S291
Although the Penguins hold a solid lead in their two team race with Boston, both teams have enough games left, Algoma 13. and Boston 6, that, if they were to ape the '64 Phillies, one of the trailers could make a miracle run. Only Silly, with just three games remaining is absolutely eliminated from the chase. Still no relegations.
