He is only 55 in stealing and 60 in baserunning compared to someone like Powers who is maxed out at 80. PLus, doing poorly? I think you are being tough on the kid, he is currently 5th in the league in hits with a good chance to go over 200 for the season. At age 21, that is pretty impressive.

I mean poorly with stealing. He should be better than 7/15. And with 75 speed someone should be stealing a bit more than he is

Powers only hit 25 homers this season! He really needs to do better then that considering he hit 40+ the last two seasons.

Decision needed for Larrabee and Powers

Larrabee signed a 7yr 127mil extension covering the rest of his ARB years and 4 into FA. He has a opt out in the 4th season. Do you want to keep the contract or just go with Arb?

Powers, same type of deal, 7years 101.6, but no opt out. The contract would cover into his 4th year of FA. You want it or no?

Garry Powers doesn't want to sign a long term deal yet and will just go with arbitration for now.

Larrabee will go with arbitration as well. I like the cardinals, so I would like to sign a long term contract..... Just not yet.
