Kids (Renton Dragons and Woodinville Infinite Power) are hoping to move out of Gold this season with their two teams. Some hilarious competition to watch: one won bronze then the other won silver the next season so now they are going against each other again in Gold.
Both teams are a defensive nightmare and a few good pitchers away from going to Perfect.

I heard one of them talk about his recent change for 1B to a player you had a while back (Nomar). I fear I will have to buy more ink if the kids run into your team. They like to print out teams that they like and then discuss off-line what they want to do or how to compete against them.

The FTP(lack of funds) makes it interesting and tough working up the ladder unless you hit something really good. I alternate with one week opening packs with my earned PP and the next week or so saving for an upgrade. I have hit a couple of live Diamonds I sold for 10-16K each that have helped on the pack weeks. I really enjoy the challenge in this league though and know as we assimilate to a level it is going to be more fun. It is already getting better as the teams are getting grouped more and more are joining the league.

Nomar is still my first baseman on my Xtreme team. 82 Defense at 1st and Nomar at the plate works for me. I noted the kids PT 20 teams now so I will watch for them.

Is everyone in the league adding -OL to their team name? I noticed a lot of differences (-OL, (OL), - OL, ...) so searching for all of them is not as quick as I thought.

I'm not, but I added + to my team's abbreviation. Maybe I'll add some Our League indication to my logo when I get around to making a custom logo for myself.

Unbeknownst to me, the PT schedules aren't set until 10 a.m. on Mondays, so the two sets of screen shots I received from Bottom of the Sixth didn't match, and RL has interfered since. That said, here are the remaining games, from July 1st, for I207.

So it was a challenge to remove all the live players and build a general starter roster.

It adds a whole new element to the game that I find a lot more rewarding than watching wins from my Perfect league team.
Hope your Xtreme team is doing well.

My son will be excited to hear that Nomar will be able to stay and compete with Wade and Carew for 1B.

Your logo is fine, and is actually accurate to the history of Melaka -- also the reason I picked Arama, it fits. Melaka was a colony of the Portugese, Dutch and Brits. My virtual stadium was named A'Famosa Stadium and A'Famosa was a Portugese fortress. Only the gate survived the time in real life though, and there's a resort built around it. So, I just (imaginarily) slammed the stadium close to the resort, which makes perfect sense to me. And screw the resort golf course. Baseball > golf.

I am just OCD on this kind of stuff so I prefer the logo here to be the same as in-game, hence I picked the ship.

It is easier to see our teams in the standings if they add some form of the OL. I use the -OL like you did on my team name and the + on the abbrv. to help our stat keepers.

My card says 10,500 now. I drew mine from a pack the first week and he is not good enough defensively for my SS and he is tall enough at 6'0" so I put him on first for good D there and bat. This is 5th Perfect Level season against the quality of pitching, which is mostly RHers, he is hitting .288.

Usually not often in AH except for the rare times when we don't have points...at that time you can usually find two copies.

At about the halfway point in the season, both the Bunnies (46-30) and the Green Lake Cowboys (42-34) are leading their respective divisions in the NL, while, if the season ended now, Aina Haina Parakeets (43-32) would be a wild card team.

In the AL, Seattle Pilots (41-36) would be a wild card team, while Transylvania Impalers (38-40) are 3 1/2 games back but still in the running.

Let's hope the second half of the season goes as well as the first half!
