Fran Boniar

Outfielder Francis "Fran" Boniar was a non-roster invitee with the Dodgers in 1958. He is pictured here twice in a Reno Silver Sox uniform. The close-up shot on the left is from the Nevada State Journal (Reno) of July 13, 1957. The photo on the right shows him receiving the California League MVP trophy after setting the Cal League batting record of .436 in 1957. It's from the Nevada State Journal of September 10, 1957. His overall batting average for 1957 (2 teams) was .421. Amazingly, he received the Hillerich and Bradsby Silver Bat two times for being the best offensive player in organized baseball, yet never made the majors.

Greg Foreman Braves

In the most recent Topps Vault releases was a Braves minor league phenom for the early 70s, Greg Foreman, in his first professional camp in 1971.

Foreman, a lefty hitting outfielder, was undrafted because in part his high school did not have a baseball team and in part because he'd signed a football grant-in-aid with LSU. But according to the Braves' 1971 media guide, Braves general manager Paul Richards signed Foreman himself as a favor to a former Southern Association teammate, Jack Sudyam, who was a friend of the Foreman family. He was invited to spring training after hitting .467 in American Legion ball.
Richards: "He has as pretty a swing as any youngster I've ever seen."
And it seemed he had promise, hitting 23 homers for Greenwood in 1971 and 21 and 27 homers for Savannah in 72-73. He had eight for Richmond in 1974 along with more walks than strikeouts (66-62), but played no more.
A "Where are they now?" story written in 2014 indicated that Foreman recently was making a living selling paint at a Sears in his Lake Charles hometown.

Sounds like you're looking for a large number of various high school yearbooks. I would suggest getting an account at classmates.com -- they have over 300,000 yearbooks downloaded already in their database.

This photo isn't much, but from past experience, you seem to want anything of a player. It's from the Chula Vista (CA) Star-News of July 17, 1966. I think the uniform is the Merchants team in the Chula Vista Colt League for boys. Chula Vista is the city next to National City, where Preston attended high school. Apparently, he also attended high school in Chula Vista at Castle Rock High School. E-Yearbooks.com has a photo of him in the Castle Rock HS Class of 1968 Yearbook on page 128, if you wish to subscribe to their service. Maybe classmates.com has that yearbook as well. I don't know.

John Preston was a non-roster invitee with the Padres in 1969.

Richard Seminoff

Continuing with the lumpkin requests ---

For a Dick Seminoff photo, a search of Google Images would turn one up easily. Having done that for you, you'll find one on the following page:

Robert C. Flynn

Robert "Bobby" or "Bob" Flynn was a non-roster invitee with the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1952. During his pro career, he served as both a pitcher and a catcher. He died recently on July 31.

After his playing career ended, he went to Bates College, where he further showed his versatility. He was head baseball coach, assistant football coach, head golf coach, and coach of the school's skiing team.

The photo of him in a Pirates' uniform is from the baseball-birthdays.com minor league website.
